Highlights
  • 1859 Ashton Villa - Ashton Villa\n\nThe extremely wealthy eccentric Betty Brown’s spirit is forever roaming the elegant halls of Ashton Villa. Many have seen Betty wearing a turquoise dress and carrying a fan during lavish event held at the mansion. Even death can’t keep Betty from being the life of the party…and scare the guests half to death.\n- Open Gates Conference Center - Sealy Mansion (Open Gates)\n\nJohn Sealy wanted to the best for his family so, we decided to build them the largest and most lavish house on the Island. The children play room was in the attic and had a Broadway stage. To this day the children continue to perform for anyone brave enough to witness the stage doors opening and closing by themselves. Magnolia Sealy, the head of the household is seen wandering the halls too shy to speak with visitors.

Perfect night walking historic Galveston - Noelle was the PERFECT guide for this tour — I got my fill of history & my husband loved all the supernatural/true crime stuff. We drove 2 hours from The Woodlands for an impromptu Galveston weekend & this tour was fantastic & appealed to both of us. We’re already planning another tour with our daughters because we know they’ll enjoy it, too.

Interesting walk at easy pace with a good guide. - Interesting walk of about a mile round trip, took about an hour and 15 mins. The stories were good and the guide had some amazing spooky photos on his phone taken by people from previous tours. The guide was knowledgeable and amusing and it was at an easy walking pace. I do a ghost tour in every city I go to and I'd recommend this one.

Reasonable, especially for history information of the city. Not really scary. - This tour begins at the gazebo area of the Rosenberg Library. Gazebo area at the time we went had 2 homeless men sleeping inside of it, so no-one went near it. We waited outside for the tour guide. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the history of Galveston, and in particular, the famous hurricane in the early 1900's. Was able to paint a picture of what it was like at that time, and set the stage for the tour. It wasn't really spooky, and was primarily a walking tour of historical events in about six different places, and the people who lived or worked inside them.
