A must do while in Yellowstone! - We had such a great experience! Our guide Newby was excellent and very helpful. Highly recommend this trip to scratch your bucket list.

Great Morning on the Gallatin River/Mad Mile - My teenage son and I had a blast rafting with Montana Whitewater on Sunday morning. We opted for the half-day, "more challenging" option before flying home later that afternoon. The water was not raging as much as it does early in the season, but this section of the Gallatin River was still a blast. The entire staff was very friendly and really made the experience a fun (and safe) one. We were fortunate to have Bean as our guide (who was perfect and took great care of our boat), but the other folks on the team were fantastic too. We liked that they had the gear that one might need at no additional expense. MW is a short drive from Big Sky.

Great day - We went white water rafting as a family. We had a lot of fun. Melissa was an excellent guide. She gave out very good instructions, and we felt well taken care of. Great day!

Enjoyable trip - We took the "less challenging" route, which provided enough rapids action while mostly easy going. The guides get extensive training which was also reassuring. We enjoyed the sights along the river, to include a bald eagle. Well worth the time and money

Best rafting experience yet!!! - We just finished our week long trip of Montana and Wyoming. White water rafting is one of the highlights of this trip. Montana had an unusually cold and rainy August which turned out great for catching some gnarly rapids. We have done white water rafting in Colorado and New Mexico before but this was by far the best. Nick was our raft guide and he definitely made our experience more enjoyable; very thoughtful, funny and intelligent dude! he gave us a lot of interesting information about the river and local attractions and even grabbed some wild thimbleberries from the river banks for us to taste! Kids had a blast with him and they felt courageous enough to dive in the frigid waters for a short swim. Would like to return to the Gallatin river again in future and look for Nick to raft with if he's still around:)

Awesome whitewater rafting experience - We had an awesome time. The water was up from all the rain, so we had great rapids. Our guide Tommy did a great job making our trip exciting and fun. We would definitely recommend Montana White Water for family outing.

Had a blast - Our family of 5, kids ages 14,15 and 17 had a wonderful time on our whitewater rafting trip. 2 of us were first timers and we felt totally comfortable due to the great instruction from Colin. He was fun and informative and made sure we were safe while making it exciting. This was one of our favorite activities while staying in Big Sky. I would definitely do it again.

Morgan was a fantastic guide! - We rafted the Gallatin and Morgan was our guide. We had a 6 and a 8 year old in our group and our guide, Morgan, was exceptional. She made sure everyone was safe and understood how to sit in the raft and what to do if anyone were to fall out. Her instructions were clear, she was super enthusiastic, and had a great sense of humor which made the ride so much fun. She let our 8 year old call out some commands and made it possible for us to pass the other rafters so our competitive little rafter could come in first. We all had more fun than we anticipated and felt secure knowing we were in expert hands. Ask for Morgan on your next rafting trip!

Fun family adventure! - Great family adventure! Our guide, Tommy, was wonderful, personable, safety-minded, and engaging. The whitewater rafting was fun and the views were spectacular. MMW took great pictures of us too.

More Challenging Half Day Trip makes us want to do it again! - We just completed our Montana Whitewater trip down the Gallatin with Robert who was so awesome! He was a great guide with a ton of local knowledge and amazing skills making us look like professional rafters. We will be back to Montana again just for the rafting with this team.
