Great experience - The communication was excellent, we got to the destination and the driver shared with us the best spot to watch the sunset and indeed it was beautiful. The main hike was not available but an alternative was suggested and it really was an amazing hike.

Amazing time - We got picked up at 5:35 am and as we were all from the same hotel didn’t have to stop anywhere else. The tour guide Adriana was really nice and told us lots of interesting things about Madeira. The sunrise option was definitely the right decision so don’t let the early morning wake up deter you. The hike on pr1.1 was steep on the way back ‘stairway to hell’ but was worth it. The alternative route as the rest of pr1 is still closed was a good substitute but very down hill so be careful of the knees. At the end of the hike there was a nice restaurant where you can get reasonably priced food and drink. Overall we had an amazing experience and would do again.

PR3 and Stairway to heaven trail - On time pick up and drop off from our hotel. Driver Fernando was fab! Gave brief but necessary information for the hike. Amazing sunrise view. We managed to do the Stairway to heaven trail but due to closure after the initial bit, we were redirected to PR3 trail which was equally great. All information was given prior to the hike so there was no disappointments. Great trail and a nice coffee shop at the end of it.

Great company for a day trip - Communication for the trip was great, pick up transfers were perfectly on time both ways. Our driver Diogo was very knowledgable sharing lots of Information about the island during our transfer and tips about our self guided hike. Would recommend for an east hassle free trip

Best Hike Ever - This hike was something I’ve never experienced before. It was an early morning and long hike (3-4 hours) but honestly so worth it! Our guide Filipe was awesome as well and gave us so many authentic recommendations to try while in Madeira! Thank you:)

You MUST book this trip! - This is a must-book trip if you are visiting Madeira. A driver will pick you up and drive you to the top of Pico do Arierio, where you can watch the sunrise—it is absolutely breathtaking. Then, you do a simple loop around the top of the mountain for more incredible views, about 2km round trip. Then, you hike down the mountain for about 7km. The hike down can be a bit steep and slippery, but is absolutely stunning. The hike ends at a cute coffee shop and restaurant, and the driver pickup spot is shortly beyond it. Our driver, Nuno, was such a great guy—he was super helpful, got us everywhere with speed and care, and really made it all worth it.

Best views without the stress - This self guided tour involves a safe and simple drop off and pick up, saving you so much time and eliminating hassle and hindrance when it comes to finding somewhere suitable to park.
This PR1 and PR3 route ticks all the “buena vista” boxes. Bit sore on my knees (I do have meniscus problems, so my fault)
Fernando is a shining example of how beautiful the Madeira people are inside and out.
