Great Introduction to Funchal - Ricardo was an excellent guide. Relaxed and friendly-we had a great trip. Saw lots in a short time, Ricardo was very knowledgable and was happy to go with the flow.

Amusing and interesting - During our visit to Funchal, we spontaneously decided to do the Monte Tour in a tuktuk and let Ricky show us the city. You learn a lot of interesting things about the city in a very personal atmosphere. Ricky is very nice and answered our questions in detail. He gave us tips for excursions in the surrounding area and even showed us Ronaldo's house at the end ;-)

Best thing to do while in Funchal. - We used viator for all our trips. This one was really good a Tuk, tuk, to the toboggans on Monte. We had to pay 35 euros for the ride but we’ll worth it you should do this if you visit Madeira. Buy the photo when you get off the ride it’s beautiful. Loved this trip. Tuk, Tuk us back to our hotel after.

Brilliant few hours - This was such fun. Ricky was our driver & guide. We were collected & dropped off at our hotel, although we could have been dropped elsewhere. We stopped at a lovely place where the views of Funchal were breathtaking. We did have to queue for the tobogganing & that costs extra but wow definitely worth doing. Would highly recommend

A must do - A friendly guide who looked after us and was knowledgeable. The toboggan ride was so much fun and something a bit different but with a historic influence.

Tuk Tuk experience - We booked this tour to go to Monte so that we could experience the toboggan. Luis called us the morning of the trip to say he could picks us up earlier if we wanted and that he could pick us up from where ever was convenient for us. Throughout the trip Luis told us lots of information about Funchal even pointing out Christiano Ronaldos home as my son is a Man Utd fan. This absolutely made his day. We have over an hour wait in the queue for the toboggan and Luis waited for us at the finish line. He then offered to drop us off where we wanted to continue our day Louis was polite , knowledgeable and very friendly I would highly recommend this experience 😀😀

Fun Way to see Funchal - Two of us took this fun transportation to the top of Monte in Funchal on a Sunday April 2023. Our driver was Luis, a most gregarious young man. The Toboggan Basket Ride was not open the day we were there, but Luis took us to the top of Monte and along the same route as the Toboggan Ride down hill back to the city. We also were driven through the narrow streets of Zona Vehla including a drive through the “street art”. Throughout the tour Louis described what we experienced as we drove through the city, including the history of the settlement of Madeira, the development of the town over the centuries, as well as current conditions in the region. At the conclusion of the tour, Luis dropped us at a location of our choice to permit us to do some shopping before returning to our cruise ship. An inexpensive and fun way to be introduced to Funchal with a friendly and knowledgeable driver.

Great trip , great fun - Don't let the low amount of reviews look like low service as it is not. Just had a wonderful couple of trips using this company. What a pleasure it was. the sun was out, and the driver was fun,entertaining,helpful, and very knowledgeable. Can't fault him in slightest as he genuinely seems to enjoy his work. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend
