A fun way to see the wonderful Christmas Lights of Funchal - Very enjoyable hour driving around Funchal with Miguel in a fun 51 year old convertible VW Beatle. Miguel passed on lots of information and was very adept at raising and lowering the roof according to the weather. We saw far more of Funchal and the lights than we would have done on foot. We took heed of previous review and wore jackets but hats weren't used. Highly recommend this tour. Nb best photos taken when stopped at traffic lights!

Phenomenal - A wonderful surprise to find Phenomenal an open top vintage car. A very pleasant informative driver and the lights were phenomenal by far the best we’ve seen anywhere.

An amazing experience ! - This was an amazing way to view the Funchal Christmas lights - not only will you get to see more and quicker with the open rooftop, but the vintage car is a fun ride too! Funchal Christmas lights - Absolutely the best way to see the Christmas lights in Funchal. Both drivers were on time, very friendly and shared plenty of local knowledge along the way.

Great mini tour - This is a must. The Christmas lights are really pretty and there are lots and lots of them. We were picked up at our hotel and taken on a wonderful tour. The driver/guide was very informative pointing out things of interest along the route (history lesson included). There is no way anyone walking would have seen all the lights. We went up, down and all around the streets. This tour is brilliant if you want to see everything and not feel tired after it all. You are dropped off back at your hotel but I’m sure if you wanted to stay in Funchal town they would do that. Great value for money. Definitely recommend.

A must experience in December - We were picked up from our hotel (be aware that they have limited hotel pick up points) in an open top re conditioned VW Beetle. We got just over an hour of Christmas Lights sights from one end of Funchal to the other. It was a beautiful sight. We recommend you take a hat and a warm jacket. The only point for improvement We would suggest is that we had more stops to take photos. Rudolpho was very friendly and knowledgeable
