An (almost!) sleigh ride under sensational Christmas lights. - Funchal's Christmas lights are incredible, and this tour is such a special way to see them. Rudolph was a superb guide, and the lovely car was comfy and cosy. Probably as close as you can get to a sleigh ride. 🙂 The work that goes into creating the spectacular light displays is so impressive, and Rudolph was a font of knowledge as we whizzed around the streets. If you have struggled to walk up any of the hills you will be really impressed at how nimble and light the car is! We loved the different styles of lights, it's lovely that they have kept some of the traditional style of lights to appreciate the heritage. If you're in Funchal from December to 7th January, this tour is not to be missed and will be a highlight of your trip.

Brilliant experience - The lights in Funchal are off the scale and this trip gave us the perfect opportunity to enjoy them. It was pouring with rain so sadly we didn't get the top down experience but the little VW Beetle gamely took us up and down the hills. Our driver, Rodolfo, was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent way to see the Christmas lights of Funchal - Our Mikel was excellent, took us around different parts of the city we would normally not have seen, Tour was over one hour and excellent value for money

Lovely experience in beautiful Madeira - We were picked up promptly from the cruise dock , unfortunately the weather was very wet and windy so we were unable to have the top down in the car🙁Rodolfo our guide was excellent with interesting local knowledge about the area.The lights are amazing and we would have loved to have got out in the old town to explore further but as the weather was that bad we returned to the cruise port.The tour is excellent value and would highly recommend as something different to experience in beautiful Madeira.If the later time slots are available I would suggest going for that as the 6.30 slot was very busy traffic.Thank you Rodolfo for a lovely experience 😊

Interesting tour to view xmas lights despite heavy rain. - Very interesting tour around Funchal to view the Xmas lights. All good, nice conversations with driver regarding life on Madiera. Would recommend.

Great trip - A great trip in a super little car with super commentary. If we come back we will certainly book other trips and loved the experience.

Pretty lights - Very enjoyable hour, seeing the lights that we would never see on foot. We went down some back streets and out of the main city. Driver very informative.
