BEST tour & guide ever! - We spent an incredible nine hours with Ricardo. His knowledge of all things related to Madeira was outstanding. he is well educatedand interesting, warm hearted, knowledgeable, and very interested in maintaining his island for future generations. We never tired of listening to the history of the island and his wonderful stories. He took us to places that most tourists never see, including a secret waterfall. We promised not to share it on social media. If I could rate Ricardo and the tour six stars, I would!

Best Tour and guide I think we have ever had! - What a great tour with Ricardo! He was an incredibly knowledgeable guide, as well as being extremely interesting to talk with. I think this was the best Tour I ever took with any guide. I would give him six stars, if it was possible here. We learned a tremendous amount about the country of Madera, its history, its current state of affairs, and it’s plans for the future.

Best views of Madeira - One of the best tours I had, Ricardo is a great guide and knows and showed us the most beautiful, breathtaking views of Madeira. Really enjoyed the tour, would love to bring my family and friends to do the same tour as well. Loved the whole experience

Unforgettable impressions of a unique tour. - The tour, which lasted around 9 hours in total, was truly unique. We had an incredible amount of stops throughout the east and northeast of Madeira without rushing and enjoyed fantastic views. And there was even time for an excellent lunch in front of a spectacular Atlantic panorama. Ricardo is not only a safe driver of his comfortable 4x4 SUV, but also a knowledgeable guide who is passionate about his island. We returned with unforgettable impressions. Highly recommended!

Incredible views and fantastic guide! - This tour is just amazing. Ricardo is an incredible tour guide who really cares about Madeira and the well-being of the people he takes on his tours. Our group was fairly small 3 people - which means you can ask and chat about everything. This tour and any tour with Nature Connections is worth every Euro. Very special! Amazing experience!! - Great way to visit the east & eastern areas of Madeira! The itinerary is very comprehensive, and even though it rained for parts of the trip, our guide Ricardo made de trip fun, interesting and pleasant. From local stories to off beaten paths, this 8 hour trip flew by. Ricardo is really knowledgeable about Madeira. He also gave us great restaurant tips and shared amazing pics from the trip. We really loved it and recommend this trip to everyone visiting Madeira!!

Off the beaten path - I spent a wonderful day with Richardo touring the East northeast part of the island. Our weather wasn’t the best but we were able to stop at all the sites on our itinerary. I felt totally safe and comfortable in the 4x4 climbing some narrow off the beaten path roads. The scenery was stunning and Richards’s knowledge and love of Madeira was obvious. I thoroughly enjoyed my day with him. It was the perfect way to explore the island with crowds.

Over and above! Perfect tour with a perfect guide. - Ricardo was amazing, knowledgeable, passionate and professional! The east tour is a must do and we learned so much about Madeira! The off-road excursions were especially enjoyable, seeing places the average tourist does not get to see. I had to book this tour the day before due to an unexpected schedule change and told them that it was my husband’s birthday and I really wanted the day to be special. Ricardo showed up with a picnic basket, a traditional bday cake/candle champagne and stopped at the perfect spot to pop the bubbly and sing HappyBirthday. He also made reservation at a wonderful restaurant for us and they sang HB and presented another cake!!! The day was perfect, thanks Ricardo!
