Highlights
  • San Francisco - The experience will be fully personalized to your taste.

In such a culturally diverse city as this, it’s no surprise that San Francisco is home to a kaleidoscope of flavors, hailing from China, Korea, Mexico, Italy and pretty much everywhere else in between.

One of our food-obsessed local San Fran hosts is ready to take you from Asia to Europe and back to North America in just 3 hours during this culinary experience.

  • Union Square - Enjoy 3 hours with your host, who will share with you some of the tastes that come together to make San Francisco so unique
  • Chinatown - Who knew that you could travel around the world so fast? We suggest a zip through the oldest Chinatown in North America to sample authentic dim sum like Shanghai dumplings and steamed bbq pork buns, and even enjoy some time at the Fortune Cookie Factory.
  • Little Italy - Stroll through Little Italy where families have been baking bread and making salami to traditional recipes for generations, taste classic Italian-American dishes and learn about the area’s history.
  • Mission District - Depending on your taste, you can choose to stop by the locals’ favorite taqueria - there’s always a queue, but you’ll have a freshly baked doughnut in hand for the wait!
  • Pier 39 - Get recommendations for more places to eat, drink (and be merry) during your stay
  • SoMa - Discover the dizzying world of food trucks - these are the locals’ favorite ways to eat!
  • Golden Gate Park - Whatever your style and tastes, we promise there’s an intoxicating world of flavors in store- let us know what you like and your host will share what San Fran has to offer with you

Walking Foodie Tour of Chinatown - Fion is the best! She is equally eager to share her neighborhood and culture, as well as to learn about yours. If you're looking for an immersive tour that will let you experience Chinatown as the locals do, then this tour is for you. (Come hungry, and be sure to request Fion!).

Foodie tour of Chinatown - Our tour was so much fun and educational. Fion did a great job picking out our dishes. She shared her vast knowledge of the area and was so engaged with us to make sure the tour reflected our wishes to learn about the culture and to try new foods. Highly recommend!

Nice Tour, itinerary not as expected. - We really enjoyed our tour guide Maria, however, it wasn't quite the tour we were expecting. Maybe I should have been more explicit in our survey. We spent most of the time in the Ferry Building, then moved on to a few stops in the North Shore (Italian) area. I would have enjoyed visiting more areas of the city rather than multiple eateries within the Ferry Building. We didn't stop in China town, but the description of the tour made it sound like this was a major part of the tour.

Not as advertised - Unfortunately I can not give a glowing review.. perhaps our guide was not familiar with the food ..but our experience was more “history of San Francisco “ related than food. My husband and I have taken many food tours and this was not as advertised. We did not have “tastings” we had 2 meals. The guide was not able to offer any history of the food...or suggest anything other than what we thought we would like. It was like going to a restaurant with a friend and not knowing what to order. There was no information on the the restaurant ..other than it was a great place to eat. We managed to walk A LOT in the NorthBeach area..and found some really cools places (not on our tour). We ate pizza at a cool shop ..but really didn’t learn much more than our guide liked their pizza the best. It appeared to me that we were asking more questions than our host would offer. Although he could answer many questions...he did not offer anything more. Nice guy...but not the tour we had in mind.
