The tour itself is nice.... - The tour itself is nice. We were unlucky with the weather and it was a raining day. It would have been nicer on a sunny day. Our tour guide was Seiko but hey nickname is Koko. She was very friendly and even gave everyone gifts which was a first for me. I never had a tour guide buy gifts for everyone. It was these little cake snacks. It's not a knock on the tour but if you want to see the gorge and rent a row boat then you might want to pick another your where you have the time. You have about a little over an hour at the gorge on this tour which is not enough time. Once you park you have to hike down stairs a bit to get to where the gorge is with the row boats.

Coco San was super sweet,... - Coco San was super sweet, helpful and energetic. She kept everyone well informed about the itinerary, activities and schedule. She was so nice that she even provided everyone with omiyage snacks to take home. The activities were amazing and I loved how this tour brought me to such beautiful places that I would not be able to go without a car. Highly recommend!

Amazing trip in Kyushu! - I had an amazing experience during my Kyushu Day Trop, our guide, Helen was an incredible guide, knowledgeable, kind, funny and patient. She was engaging and informative and made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. Thanks to Helen, I had an amazing experience that exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun, meaningful, and well-guided adventure!

Great day trip - The shrine and the cave were good sights before we hit the amazing gorge. The trip was well planned with no time wasted. We had a shuttle to take us back to the bus from the gorge so we didn't have to walk back. There isn't much time to buy lunch so plan to bring some food with you. Our tour guide Thomas was very knowledgeable and entertaining, fluent in English and Chinese. Everyone enjoyed our long day with him.

March 8 Shrine and Takachiho Tour - All the places I visited were good and most importantly the guides were very good. They were very caring and the plane we were worried about made it safely. Thank you very much.

Worth the time & money! - Loved it! We wanted a simplified way to get to the takachiho gorge after canceling our Miyazaki leg of the trip. This tour picked us up from Fukuoka Hakata station and brought us back to the same spot so it’s VERY convenient if that’s where you’re staying. Our tour had mostly Chinese speakers on it and Emmy did a great job going from Japanese, to Chinese and then to English for us. Have empathy these tours are catering to diverse groups and learning multiple languages is challenging. Emmy made sure to confirm boat reservation times and warned us if some of the walks were “strenuous.” The furthest distance was about 1000 meters and at most 270 stairs. We had lots of time to take photos. Plenty of rest stops to use the toilet. We got to enjoy Miyazaki mango and beef. The shrines were beautiful. Well worth the money. Highly recommend.

Tour guide Cico is knowledgeable and helpful. - Tour brought us to view the outstanding and astonishing scenic view. Will be better if could add additional 1 hour to have more time for photo and enjoying the view.

Too rushed at the gorge - We saw all of the sites as advertised but the peak experience (the gorge) was so rushed. We barely had time to stop to take pictures/videos and to appreciate the beauty as we’re literally running to keep up with the guide. It was cool to see 2 shrines and the gorge in one day but the main point was to see the gorge and we were sad to not have more time to appreciate it when it will probably be the only chance in our lifetime to see it.

!!DO NOT BOOK!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - We got lost trying to find the meetup point. The tour company was completely unreachable at the phone numbers provided - we could not get in touch with them and neither could Viator! Enormous waste of time and money. Do not entrust your vacation plans to these swindlers. Thankfully Viator is processing a refund for us.
