So glad we did this! - Chizuko, our guide, was phenomenal. We communicated back-and-forth prior to our arrival in Japan. We had done some research and had a general idea of what we would like to see, do and eat. Chizuko met us at our hotel and then effortlessly guided us on the subway and JR trains to our various destinations across the city, including a restaurant selling local delicacies that we would never have found. It coincided with the festival so her carefully crafted itinerary changed a bit, as we were dancing and interacting with the various performing groups along the way. Her English was perfect and, whilst she was very professional, she was also extremely pleasant and easy to talk to. We had considered doing it on our own with a guide book but so glad we took the full day tour. Highly recommended.

A day in Fukuoka - Great day with our tour guide Chizuko, a trip to the garden island Nokonosima magnificent views and beautiful flowers and trees, just a few cherry blossoms. In return a walk through shopping area and authentic sushi & sashimi lunch. Continuing to walk through the shopping area past more blooms. Highly recommended

An extraordinary experience - I spent an extraordinary day with Erica. I chose to visit a Shinto shrine and Buddhist temple in Fukuoka-Harita and then have a matcha at the Rakusuien tea house. On this advice, we have done much more! She listened to my tastes, respected my rhythm, patiently answered all my questions. I could never have had such a great experience in Fukuoka without her.If I could give her a sixth star or even a seventh, I would!

Absolutely great time. - We had a great time on our full day tour. Chizuko was a great host and made a wonderful plan to hit everything we wanted to see. Sadly on the day we arrived it was raining and made doing everything a challenge so on the fly she was able to help us find great indoor alternatives. On top of that we even went to a bunch of the outdoor spot when the rain was lighter. All in all a great experience.

Be sure to visit outside of Fukuoka city limits as well - The highlight of our tour was taking the train to the shrine of the reclining buddha. It was a cool and tranquil visit. Our guide was also very helpful in assisting us with some future reservations.
