Mount Fuji guided tour - Hiring a private tour was the best decision made on this trip. The trip was very comfortable from the start from getting picked up from my hotel to being dropped. Ryu having lived in Tokyo for years have a great knowledge of the history and culture. It was important for us to not only visit these places but to have an understanding of its meaning to local people. Thanks for the amazing trip highly recommend

Mt Fuji Day Tour - Our driver Ryu, was fantastic! Ryu was friendly and very knowledgeable. He customised our trip perfectly and was very considerate with planning ahead so we had the best opportunity to see Mt Fuji and beat the crowds. He also took some beautiful family photos for us. A great experience! - To be honest, I was a little skeptical about booking a tour with a complete stranger, but it proved to be our easiest, carefree day in Japan! Ryu messaged (using What’s App) the day before to ask to start 30 minutes early to avoid some traffic, and we were totally ok with this, so I said yes. He also reviewed a tentative itinerary based on what I listed as some places we wanted to make sure to see/do. He came up with a great “game plan” and was accommodating to the fact that one of my travelers was recovering from a foot injury and walked slower than usual. On the day of the tour, he was very punctual. He shared a lot of information and knowledge with us during the drive, but it also didn’t feel overwhelming or boring… it was casual as he safely drove us in his very clean van. One of our travelers in our group often gets car sick (and did get sick in some of the taxis in Japan), but he had no issues with Ryu driving. We had a full day filled with so many wonderful things to see, do and eat! We lucked out with the most beautiful weather with clear skies to get the most amazing views of Mount Fuji. All of Ryu’s recommendations for places to visit, things to do and places to eat were top notch and didn’t disappoint. He’s a master of knowing where to take great photos too! He works very hard and his commitment to his work shows. He even offered to carry bags full of omiyage (gifts for people back home) for our older adult in our group. He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable and if I ever get the chance to visit Japan again, I’d love to book another tour with him! Even our 7 year old enjoyed this experience and said this day was his favorite day (voted over going to Disneyland and visiting all the Pokémon Centers on the other days of our trip to Japan!)

Unforgettable Mt Fuji tour with my family. - Me and my family had an incredible time with Ryu on our Mt Fuji tour. He picked us up promptly and was very accommodating. Me and my wife had gotten sick from bad food the day before, he made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed to make it through the long trip. He was very informative and had a lot of knowledge and gave us a lot of tips about Japan. He was telling us about his future plans for specialize tours tailored to the guest depending on their interests which I thought would be awesome. Will definitely use Ryu’s services again when we come back and will recommend to all our friends and family.

Best Fuji private day tour - We had thoroughly enjoyed this personalized private day tour around Fuji with our tour guide and driver, Ryu. He was friendly, well-spoken, and knowledgeable. We went with the standard itinerary, and each location was beautiful. I would definitely recommend taking a day tour to Fuji, as it is quite breathteaking. Having Ryu take you around was very relaxed way of doing it as well. We weren't able to go through all the spots due to time and wheather restrictions, so Ryu had helpfully suggested areas we should visit, and his suggestions were spot on. He even took us to a spot not commonly visited, and it was so picturesque. We travelled as a family with two young kids and they were comfortable the whole time and they enjoyed all the locations. The car was very comfortable and clean as well.

Can not recommend Ryu enough! - Ryu was such a knowledgeable and amazing guide. Can not recommend him enough! Weather was against our side but he knew how to guide the day to make the best of it.

The perfect Fuji day trip - Ryu was excellent with communication and messaged us several days before our tour to confirm our custom Mt Fuji day trip itinerary. The morning of our tour, Ryu picked us up 30 minutes early to try and avoid the morning Tokyo traffic. My impression of Ryu was that he was very kind, knowledgeable and passionate about his long career in tourism. He made my group of four feel very comfortable during 1.5 hour drive up to Fuji areas. We stopped at multiple locations that were recommended by Ryu, all of which were perfectly timed to beat the rush of tour buses and its crowds. At each stop, Ryu so kindly took several pictures of group to help document then memorable day. The trip with Ryu has been one of our favorite days in Japan thus far.
