Close you have the famous spot for the Big Waves in Portugal. Nazare Big waves have the world record of the biggest wave ever surfed.
But Nazare is more than just the waves, and you’ll get to know the history behind the city and why was such an important place since the XII century and with a bit luck you might seen some surfers on the water (easier from Ocotober to March/April)
