Once you reach your destination, your experience will start with by walking tour through the olive grove. Your host will narrate the significance of olive oil in the history, mythology, economy, and art of the country and get to see Manaki trees, a rare olive variety that cannot be cultivated in other parts of the world. You will also learn about the Greek olive oil production methods and the route through which Greece’s “liquid gold” reaches the bottle.
At the end of your walk, you will arrive at a kiosk at the highest point of the olive grove for your olive oil-tasting experience. You will smell and taste a variety of Greek olive oil varieties under the guidance of the olive oil sommelier, alongside small bites that will enhance your experience.
After your olive oil-tasting experience, it will be time to hop back to your vehicle and let your driver return you to Athens richer in knowledge, experiences, and memories!
