Travel to and from the... - Travel to and from the ship was great. The snorkeling was very good and the guides were excellent. The excursion was the perfect length, around 2 hours from ship and back, I would definitely do again.

This excursion should be on your bucket list - Justin was waiting for us at the indicated meeting point after getting off the ship. The drive to the snorkelling rendez vous pier was interesting, with Justin pointing out facts and history along the way. Once on the pontoon, the guides were very helpful giving pointers to those who had never used the equipment. The snorkelling reef was awesome! Even my husband, who was a diver in the past, was impressed by the quality of the coral reef and the plentiful fish ! I would highly recommend this excursion !

Snorkel day at Roatan - We had such a personable experience with this company. Our driver Norma went above and beyond to make our day wonderful. She added a stop at the monkey and sloth sanctuary and allows us to stop at a restaurant for some local cuisine. She was the best. Our snorkel guide Trey was so knowledgeable and he was the best as well!!! Highly recommending going with this company. The snorkel and visibility was amazing!

Families/ Singles 🐠Excellent reef experience! Towels & gear! Cruise boat day trip - Highly recommended! 😎 Roatán Ocean Adventure delivered a fun, professional experience! Our group included a wide range of swimmers. We embarked from the cruise, and found our driver ( ROA signs visible). Her van was clean, and she drove directly to the waterfront where ROA catamarans were ready with chilled water, towels, and snorkeling gear. In the sea, we were guided through a fabulous snorkel/swim above colorful coral gardens teeming with brilliant tropical fish. The catamaran captain remained nearby for swimmers who wanted to relax aboard. There was no pressure, no rush. ROA was better value and adventure than ANY cruise ship excursion! (Paige Woods of ROA organized directly through Trip Advisor ) Highly recommend 👏🏻👏🏻

Best ever snorkel experience! - I highly recommend this snorkeling experience. The reef was exceptional and our guide and pontoon boat captain did everything possible to make this a snorkel trip of a lifetime. I have snorkel many places in the Caribbean and truly this trip was one of the best ever.

Amazing Underwater Realm Unveiled Before Your Eyes! - My sister and I did the snorkel hopping tour and had a blast, you will too! I cannot recommend them highly enough because they definitely rate a 10! Beautiful snorkel spots and amazing things to see combined with awesome visibility ROA great. They know the waters and always take you to the best spots dependent upon the prevailing weather. I've been with them multiple times before and my sister came once (about 8 years ago) and I have always had a great time. Even though my sister is an experienced scuba diver, she really enjoyed snorkeling with ROA. We had Joseph as our in-the-water guide who was able to point out things and educate us on the names of a vast array of fish and fauna. Austin, our boat driver, was readily available and pulled the boat close after our various snorkeling spots so we didn't swim far at all to get back on. The ladder was a nice wide one that was very stable when climbing aboard. Austin would take our gear and assist us on board as well while Joseph remained in the water ever watchful of our safety telling us to take our time, there was no rush. We saw many colorful fish, including Dory, a pufferfish, trigger fish, trunk fish, two lionfish, a school of cuttlefish, two different types of lobsters, a little shrimp and a barracuda! I had my underwater camera, but since Joseph could really hold his breath, he was able to take a better picture of the big lobster and little shrimp than I managed, but all the other pictures I took. I have seen several lionfish over the years; they make beautiful pictures but never had I encountered a baby blue one before. Joseph was kind enough to allow me to take several pictures because with my lack of skill, it takes me several tries to get one that looks good or great. I was very happy with my photos, and the tour overall was fantastic. It culminated with ice cold water and fresh cut-up fruit. We ate on the way back but had cold water throughout the day and were offered fruit between our 2nd and 3rd stop but decided we wanted it at the end. That fruit was deliciously sweet and made a wonderful finale on our excursion. Afterwards, we were conveniently dropped off at the port by Ann who had also driven us out. Our entire excursion could not have been better, even though we were sprinkled on a little while snorkeling, other excursions through the ship had been cancelled entirely and I saw a lot of disappointed people when we were leaving the ship to go on our trip with ROA. Remember ROA will save the day and help make unforgettable memories for you and your family! If you’re on a cruise and you only get one stop in Roatan, book Roatan Ocean Adventures to ensure a GREAT time.
