Viva Fortuna Beach by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive - At the meeting point will meet our PADI dive instructor who will help you fit the scuba gear. You will sign proper documentation and afterwards you are ready to start your scuba experience. You will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive. Afterwards you will have a confined-water session and you will submerge for the first time under the guidance the instructor. You will learn how to control your breath and buoyancy and get familiar with the components of your gear: mask, fins, regulator, wet-suit, jacket and scuba tank. Finally you are ready for underwater exploration in the ocean! Jump on our dive boat to sail to the dive spot where you make your first open water dive in the ocean. Under watchful eye of our instructor, you will submerge up to 40 feet (12 meters) to explore vibrant coral reefs and schools of tropical fish eye-to-eye.
Before and after the snorkeling activity (9 am - 5 pm) you can enjoy facilities of Viva Resort with a Day Pass. Guests can use: Main restaurant , Snack bar , Main bar for alcohol beverage, Gym, Pool, Beach, Non motorized water sport activities, Animation activities.

Embark on a journey to explore the depths of the ocean with a PADI discover scuba diving course on your next vacation in Grand Bahama. Dive into the mesmerizing turquoise sea surrounding Bahamas which is home to stunning coral reefs and diverse marine life. Join us for this half-day adventure which includes an instructional briefing, a training session in a pool and a diving experience in the open sea under the guidance of a PADI-certified tutor. Once you discover the wonders of the sea, you’ll be enthralled and eager to expand your diving skills.
Immerse yourself in the comforts of the Viva Resort with a day pass, before (9 am) and after (5 pm) your underwater adventure. The day pass grants you access to the main restaurant, snack bar, bar for alcoholic drinks, gym, pool, beach, non-motorized water sports, and recreational activities.
- Minimum age is 10 years
- All participants are required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving; some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving; please consult your doctor
- Dive is subject to weather conditions
- It is recommended that you bring/wear your swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, towel and water; you may also bring a packed lunch or snacks
- Diving 24 hours prior to the flight is forbidden
- Using facilities of the resort (except the rooms) is possible from 9:00am, and the check out 5:00pm

Shark diving was insane ! - Best diving with sharks every dive is super cool and Mike is one of the best in this dive center he is so nice and i feel very safe and all doing there best !! So happy to dive with reefoasis dive center it was really nice

Awesome trip! - My father and I had amazing time learning to scuba dive as well as explore the beautiful ocean. Our instructors Ceasar and Emilie were very kind and knowledgeable! We learned a lot from them both. We had an amazing trip!

Check off Bucket List - Absolutely Incredible Experience! Emily (Dive Instructor) was fantastic. I had a little problem descending and clearing my ears. She was right there to guide me through and I was able to continue on with a great experience. the Whole Experience was top notch. Best part of our whole trip.

I was a little scared, but the instructor was very patient and thorough. - You need a day pass from the resort to participate in this event. The price of the day pass was included in the excursion cost, however, we didn’t know we needed to pick that up at the front desk of the resort upon entering the resort. I am 67. I found moving around with all the equipment on me a little challenging but doable.
I wish I had taken a underwater GoPro with me to get some underwater shots.
Matilda, the instructor was absolutely fabulous. I had never scuba dive before and wasn’t sure how I would handle it since I have a little claustrophobic tendencies. She was very reassuring, and patient.

Amazing experience with the best instructor, Emilie 😊 - No words to describe the experience, connecting with the sea life was magical! So greatful for having Emilie next to us, we couldn't ask for better instructor! She was very professional and made us feel confident and safe at all times. After having the correspondent training in the pool, we went to the sea on a little boat driven by Basil - he was lovely and offered us some water. Once in the sea, Emilie helped us to descend and then guided us through the most beautiful corals and colourful fishes, she even took pictures of us and sent them straight after the activity! One of the best experiences in my life, thanks Emilie- you are star 🌟

What an experience diving in Freeport, Grand Bahama! - Wow, what an experience! Emilie was AMAZING! We went to the pool first to get general knowledge, then went to the ocean to check our skills. Did I say what an experience?! We had a group of 4 guys and I was a bit hesitant before going in the ocean, but Emilie talked me through it and once I descended, I was so happy I did. We all stayed together and there was no fear of getting lost. She gave us great knowledge in the pool, so there weren’t any surprises in the ocean. From start to finish, it was from 9am - 1:30pm or so and that was ample time. Thanks, Emilie! We will certainly be back to dive again!!

Regrets - Was cancelled sues to choppy seas. Was able to stay on resort. That's the bad part. It's horrible. They treat you like a third class citizen with day pass and refuse to even give you a towel. Never again!!! Place is pretty run down and not a lot of activities at all
