Beautiful beach!!! - Best beach by far out of anywhere we went in the Bahamas. Completely still and clear water no matter how far I swam out. Great snorkeling. Only thing that would make it better would be wait staff on the beach. You have to go up to bar to order drinks. I will be returning next year.

Beautiful beach - Beautiful beach, great buffet. Wish there were more pool chairs though. Drinks were good. Would have been perfect if there were beach waiters. Was with 2 elderly so I had to run from the Beach to the bar to get them drinks constantly. Otherwise very nice

Freeport - VivaWyndham Fortuna Resort - Beautiful beach and view is awesome. Definitely need beach/water shoes walking in water is very rocky. Taxi service is good; however, be aware that if you want to leave earlier than the rest of the people that rode taxi van with you there - it’s costs more. Taxi service is $20/pp round trip plus an additional $5/pp if you return earlier. Overall good experience.

We were in Freeport on a day... -
We were in Freeport on a day excursion off of a cruise ship. We found a taxi driver to drive us to the resort. The taxi was more expensive than the website says. Cost us 38 plus tip each way took about 30 min each way. The resort was very beautiful and spread out. The Large Pool was very clean. Nice lounge chairs at the pool and on the beach. Very long private beach area. Beach area was very clean and the ocean was clear and a beautiful blue/green. There are a lot of rocks in the ocean, so it's hard on your feet walking out. Food was just ok. The Drinks were very good, the bartenders were not skimpy on the liquor. We took dance lessons at the pool, played in the sand, hung out in the ocean and kayaked, all were a lot of fun. Wind was to strong to take out the sale boats and to try the paddle boards. Even tho it was end of March, the ocean and pool were warm enough to get in. This excursion was very nice, the resort is very relaxing, not a party scene if this is what your looking for but it is a little pricey for the amount of time at the resort and for the quality of the food. We had a few drinks but over all it was expensive for what you get especially with taxi cost on top of the resort cost. Nice place, I would consider spending a week there

Not worth $135 - The description was not accurate. No windsurfing or snorkeling. Drinks were watered down. Water was nice but there was I stepped on fire coral for which there was no warning. Food was meh.

Got scammed by trip advisor - Trip advisor sold us a day trip to viva Wyndam in Freeport. We paid for a taxi to get us there to find out the resort doesn’t accept the trip advisor :viator purchases. We wasted a lot of time on our 1 day stop. They would not accept the pass no matter what we did or what manager we spoke to. Come to find out the resort sells the same pass themselves for half the price. We need a refund immediately

Save yourself the regret - Definitely not worth the cost. Save yourself the bother. They were supposed to have transport when we book. They changed it after. There is one buffet that has very few offerings and was not very good. There is one pool they refuse to give you towels they are only for guests staying there then you get yelled at because your wet when you go to get a drink at the bar. It's just not a good experience at all.
