Additional Information

No exploration is fully accomplished without experiencing the blue holes located in East Grand Bahama. These underwater caves are interconnected beneath the earth’s crust, promoting rich aquatic life as a result of the ebb and flow of the tides. The mirage-like effect created by these rising and falling tides give the blue holes a boiling appearance, thus giving them the nickname ‘boiling holes’.

100% recommend - Had a great day with Brice and his crew!! Absolutely worth the money and such a fantastic experience. The weather was beautiful, the coral reef and blue hole were breathtaking, and our guide was so hospitable and prompt! We were pi ked up from the Freeport cruise port by Rica. She drove about an hour to a boat ramp where we met Brice and explored the flats of the eastern Bahamas. After 45 minutes of drift snorkeling, we went back for a quick lunch at Brice's home and relaxed on his private beach. The views were incredible and it was so nice to get away from the hustle of the city and all of the tourist attractions. Definitely recommend!!!

Amazing! Must Do! - This was an incredible experience. Brice picked us up from our resort and on the way to Sweetings Cay/inlet, provided a great overview of island, including history, government structure, information about the trees and animals. The snorkeling itself was beyond compare- you snorkel was quite a while and are so close to beautiful fish, starfish, huge stingrays and the most amazing coral, gorgeous lavender and yellow coral! Just amazing! Next was turtle pond and a great lunch! Thoroughly enjoyed and I highly recommend!

Best Tour of East Grand Bahama! - Brice and Rica (and Snowflake the adorable boat pup) were fantastic hosts! The tour from Freeport to the East Grand Bahama was so comfortable, educational, and fun - we learned so much about the Bahamian culture and history. Then, our hosts took our family of three on a boat ride out to Sweetings Cay and to an inlet where we were able to snorkel and see all sorts of starfish, coral, stingrays, and other wildlife. Next we visited the Turtle Pond, where we saw half a dozen turtles that came up to eat the conch meat. On our way back, the tide had come back and Brice accommodated us back over to our car along the coastline. All in all, the experience using Fran’s Tours was well worth the time and money!

Best snorkeling ever! - The hubby & I had Brice all to ourselves. What a wonderful guide. The "drift" snorkeling was one of the best things I've ever done. No effort involved. Just peacefully drifting over some of the most beautiful sea life imaginable. Can't wait to do it again.

Great tour! - My husband and I booked this excursion for our port day in Freeport. Unfortunately it was unseasonably cold and cloudy, but that’s no one’s fault. The snorkeling was fantastic. We saw rays, stingrays, dolphins, starfish, lion fish, and lots of beautiful fish in the coral. The gear provided for snorkeling was nice. Brice was a great guide and gracious host. We loved seeing the far side of Grand Bahama and experiencing island outside of the tourist areas.

The real deal. - One of the best snorkeling spots I’ve ever been to. A bit of a drive but our tour guide was funny informative and a pleasure. I’ve been to Bahamas many times prior but I learned so much about the east end of the island I never knew about. Lunch was delicious. And the boat ride although no frills was exciting and fun. If you want a great real snorkeling trip. This is it.

Wrong port - I did not realize there are separate port terminals when I booked the excursion and I was at the opposite one. Thank goodness the Bahamian authorities helped me communicate with the tour company to figure out what happened

BEWARE OF THE DECEPTIVE RIPOFF!!! - We feel like Viator intentionally deceived us because you had to pull up a drop-down list to say that they were going to charge us an additional $50 per person in addition to what we paid Viator to take the tour. We had no advance warning, and they sprung it on us on an island they had boated us too, and we could not get off the island until we paid them. Beware it is a rip off and my recommendation is that you read every single line of their website because they intentionally hide it so you won't know it. BELIEVE ME, IN MY OPINION, THE DECEPTION IS INTENTIONAL!!!
