Maximize your time in the lively capital of Denmark with a cost-effective Copenhagen Card-Discover. How does it work? Simply purchase a card for a duration of 24, 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours and enjoy savings as you explore the city with complimentary entry to over 80 attractions and museums, including the must-see Tivoli Gardens, among other places.
In addition, benefit from free public transport across the Capital Region, including bus, train, harbor bus, and metro services.
The Official Copenhagen Card is fully digital. Install the application on your mobile device and enter the card code. Once the card has been redeemed and activated, you’re all set to discover Copenhagen.
Remember not to activate (swipe) the card before you’re ready to use it for transportation and visits to attractions and museums. Activation of an order will activate all cards in the order simultaneously. If you wish to purchase cards for use at different times, please make separate bookings.
- Upon order, your card is valid for one year until activated
- Upon activation, the card is personal and non-refundable. There will be no refunds or replacements if lost or broken phones with Copenhagen Cards
- Travelers have to download the Copenhagen Card app and type in the code to redeem the card, which is 100% digital

If you have more time it’s worth it! - We are here for a week so with careful planning this card is great - especially with the public transport included. Make sure to download the Copenhagen Card app first and then group your attractions by location. It includes the top 5 closest castles and palaces as well as Roskilde, Viking Museum, Tivoli, and Glyptoteket! Already we are saving money trying other little places we may have missed.

Best deal in Copenhagen - This is the best deal in Copenhagen. We saved so much money by purchasing this card as transportation including from the airport is included as well as all the major sites.

Copenhagen card simple to use - Excellent card if you can manage enough sights and transportation on your visit. Easy to download on the app and you are given a QR code for any transport and another for attractions, simply show the relevant code when asked. Works offline . I used the metro and trains numerous times and found most attractions are right by the metro exits. I bought the four day pass and saved about £30.

Love the city card model!!!! - In 4 days…We went all over Copenhagen by subway, boat and train (including Roskilde, HILLEROD, and Helsingør) - and we went to many attractions. So it was a great value - but also a great convenience!! Really love this model - you can go into a place - check it out and if not your cup of tea - move on (cost isn’t as much a concern - rather time matters more). Great city and a great way to really explore!

Weekend in Copenhagen - The Copenhagen card is a must buy. We had a 24hr pass and if you time it right its enough time to see over 30 of the Attractions we saved over 100.00Euros.

Great experience with planning - It was a great way to see and do more without worrying about cost. You do need to do some pre-planning to maximize the dollars though, especially with littles.

positive experience - The experience with the Copenhagen Card was certainly positive. We took the 120 hour one. The fact of being able to take any means of transport within the 99 zones and with more than 84 sites that can be visited, allowed us to visit both Copenhagen and to get to Helsingor to see the Kronborg castle and to get to Roskilde to see the ship museum vikings. -we visited all 4 buildings in the city, the national museum, the observatory, took the bus, the metro, and travel to and from the airport was included. to
In the end we probably didn't save on the total cost, but certainly the convenience of not having to queue and buying tickets every time was priceless.

Copenhagen card disappointing for attractions listed as included while this was not the case in reality - The Copenhagen card in general would be an excellent service to save and optimize time, it's a pity that we found several attractions that were listed among those included but were not true such as: Copenhagen Aquarium, Astronomical Observatory round tower of Rundetaarn, the Carlsberg Factory etc. .Update the relevant sites because it is not right, given that everyone organizes themselves based on what they find indicated, remaining disappointed and wasting time.
