Glacier Country Helicopters is a family-led venture located in Franz Josef, on the West Coast of New Zealand. It was established in 2014 by Gus and Poppy, a husband-and-wife duo who can often be seen in the skies.

In our exclusive Mt Cook Supreme tour, you will soar above Franz Josef, Fox, and Tasman Glaciers and delve into the Southern Alps to witness Mount Cook. The package includes two 10-minute halts - one for snow photos and the other at the Shackleton Glacier. The entire adventure lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Kindly allocate an additional 45 minutes beyond your flight time for registration, transportation to the helicopter, loading, and unloading, and return to our facility.

It’s important to note that while your flight is private, the check-in process and van journey may be shared with other customers taking different tours.

Please ensure the total weight of all passengers meets the helicopter’s weight and balance specifications.

• Please let us know if you have limited mobility e.g. injury, arthritis or recent surgery? There are two high ladder style steps into the helicopter. This information could effect what helicopter we fly you in.
• Our helicopter seats are 40cm wide. If you would like extra space or are wider than this we highly recommend booking a comfort seat which guarantees an empty seat next to you.
