Highlights
  • An der Hauptwache - The game can be played on your own and without making an appointment. All you need is a clever team of 2 to 6 people, a charged smartphone or tablet with approx. 100 MB mobile internet, a pen and the printed card for the game, which you have to print out by yourself.

Once the ticket is activated, the game can start. The first task can be solved directly on the game card, regardless of time and place. The solution is entered into a (web) application, whose access data is available after the ticket has been activated. If the answer was correct, the app reveals where the first station of the game is located. There a task must be solved with the help of what you see on site and the hints from the game card and the app. You will then receive a hint that can be used to find the next station. Between the stations, the app displays tourist information about the previous station.

A must-do to get to know Frankfurt - Really enjoyed this game to get to know Frankfurt! Make sure you have access to wifi if possible otherwise be ready to walk around lots to try to connect into different free wifis in the area. We sometimes found it tricky to connect due to not having a good wifi system. The team were really helpful and available to answer any questions or help with clues when we got stuck once. Would definitely recommend!

Fun! - It was fun! We stopped for lunch, but probably took us closer to 4 hours total (so longer than the 2.5 hours the website says). The website says it’s open 1pm-10pm, but we went earlier and it worked fine.

Very nice walk around the city - It was really genius to go sightseeing this way. It was the urban game adventure and through a puzzle it takes you along the city. We didn’t realize it took us 3,5 hour cause we had so much fun. A tip for the company would be the give a little hint instead of the correct answer right away.

Not fun - We had to ask for hints on every item...not fun at all. The game map would only print on A4, not letter, so we went to the Local Dealer store to get a game map, and it was in German only. I was informed at the time of purchase this game would be in English, but only the site and clues were. I would not recommend this game as some of the answers had nothing to do with the clues. If you wanted an explanation, you had to email them asking how they came up with the answer...pfft. Not fun. The kid did most of the work and got some of it by watching the videos.
