Good way to get your city bearings but sound system is bad - Great way to see any city to understand where everything is located but on this occasion the sound system/ear pieces were very substandard which made it very difficult to understand the commentary

No hop on hop off - This was not a hop on hop off tour I was expecting . It was a 1 hour bus tour through the city of Frankfurt driving by major buildings through the business district and older city districts worth seeing.

May want to look for another option if you want to walk around also. - Not impressed. We did this March 6th and it was not an on and off tour. The bus never made a stop during the tour. No option to get off or on. Not a good use of time or money.

Rude driver - The driver told me "It wasn't his problem"* when my ticket couldn't load. The ride was rough, sharp turns, hard breaking, unclear VO. *My Wi-Fi was shaky in Frankfurt. Book a private tour instead

Not that great - Wish I would have looked at these reviews before purchasing. First, sure it’s a 24-hour valid tix, but the bus only runs from 10a-5p so it’s basically an 8 hr tix. Second, twice I got on a bus asking if it was the green route - both times I was told yes and was subsequently taken on the red route. Hard to figure it out early because the routes overlap in several places. The second time I did figure it out but there weren’t any stops for like 3 miles and most of the route was over. Lastly, it’s boring with not many very interesting sites. It’s mostly just talking about the new buildings. I finally just gave up and downloaded a walking tour onto my phone. I would not recommend.

Frankfurt hop on hop off is a definite stay off - The hop on hop off bus is a favorite means of orientation in a new city - I sought out the Frankfurt one. What a disappointment- overpriced. The route was very congested and given that the top cover was closed - still chilly in Frankfurt one could not see the many high rise buildings. This was exacerbated because the audio controlled by the driver was out of sync with the route . So often you were past the site or before the site by far - not recommended - spoilt my vies of the brand

Very underwhelming - After doing three HOHOs in Germany recently, this one was a bit underwhelming. Partly because there is not a lot of great sights here compared to Dresden, Berlin etc, but also because it was hard to hear the fairly soft voice on the audio ear pieces. These get thrown away when finished with BTW, so not very environmentally friendly. The content of the audio info was also a disappointment; quite lacking in detail at times. We were considering doing the second tour as well, but after the first one, we were not going to spend money on a very ordinary service

Don't even bother - Worst HOHO experience I've had. The website provided little information so I was unaware we had booked a certain time slot for what is advertised as a 24- hour, hop on hop off experience. Ver misleading. While on the bus the information provided was limited and skimmed topics, for example 'to your right is a park, given the name which means peace, built after the massacre in 1989' - what massacre, why did it happen? The staff seemed abrupt and unwilling/unable to answer questions regarding the tickets. The boat journey was also awful, really struggled to find information that they could expand on, mentioned the same things as on the bus (again just mentioned a topic and then silence). I would not reccomend at all.

Disgusting service - The service is ugly, people are not thought of at all. We lost two hours hoping to get on the bus, paid in advance online. One bus in this period of time just drove past the boarding point without even slowing down. After 1.5 hours of waiting, we did not wait for the second one. We definitely do not recommend it, we travel a lot, but this is the first time we have met with such lawlessness. There is no timetable for the route, there is no waiting area at the boarding points - just a pole where you can stand for 2 hours in vain.

Unacceptably long waiting times without any information - It was impossible, we waited 60 minutes for the bus! One drove past without stopping at the bus stop, otherwise we would have caught it. So we just waved after it... At the bus stop (very hidden, ancient sign, right in front of the trustworthy "weapon-free zone" in front of the main station, in front of a piss-stained wooden wall) there was no shelter from the rain, let alone a little shelter with wind protection, and no places to sit. Nowhere could you tell when the bus was leaving, there was no timetable, and the website only says "many departures daily", you never have to wait long. But that's very relative. I find an hour completely unacceptable, especially since you don't know the travel time. And then unfortunately it was rush hour, and we would have been quicker on foot and seen more. But once you've bought the tickets, it's too late. Overall, it wasn't worth it, a flop.
