A wonderful primer of bourbon and central Kentucky - Frankfort, Kentucky, is full of bourbon-based history, and adept raconteur Captain Nathan made the most of it, filling us with facts and anecdotes on the 90-minute Bourbon History Tour. The double-decker tour boat is comfortable and quiet, and the stretch of the Kentucky River we travelled was beautiful on a warm autumn afternoon. I'm a local, and don't really care that much about bourbon (gasp), but I loved every minute of the tour.

We would do it again. - The tour was well worth the price and we would definitely do it again. We recommend this tour for anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and quiet of traveling down the river and learning the local history.

Don't miss this awesome Kentucky Bourbon History riverboat tour, OR the beautiful town of Frankfort ! - Fun & highly recommended! Called their office direct to book & Captain Allison got me booked- super easy !Many different tours are available. Captain Nathan & Captain Allison did great jobs! Captain Nathan knows his history on Frankfort, sipping good old Kentucky Bourbon, distilleries, probably about anything else ya want to know - all while you enjoy riding the riverboat (try to book the upper level) for 1.5 hours. We had a great time and the weather was perfect! Frankfort is a beautiful, laidback historical town that shouldn't be missed.

Wonderful - Can’t believe this unique experience is so close to home(Winchester, Ky) very reasonably priced, very smooth ticket purchasing and boarding. Boat was clean, comfortable and the captain was amazing! So much history that he shared! Don’t miss the chance to do this tour! Hint, don’t use the porty potty in the parking lot. Bathrooms on the boat are very clean and accessible!
