Bourbon day - We’ve had an amazing experience, Buffalo Trace is definitely a place full of history, Whiskey Thief was our favorite so far they let us try straight from the barrel… Our driver was way more than that making our experience way better

Bourbon Bites tour Destillery Was Outstanding!! - We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Bourbon Bites tour! From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully curated and professionally run. The distillery selections were top-notch, offering a great balance between iconic bourbon houses and smaller, more intimate craft distilleries. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about bourbon and Kentucky’s rich history We appreciated the behind-the-scenes insights, access to limited-edition pours. Highly recommend!

Our guide was an... - Our guide was an extremely friendly and adaptive whiskey enthusiast. Our itinerary was impacted due to floods and our tour guide created a new one for us which allowed us to visit multiple extra distilleries. The experience was one of a kind and was a highlight of our trip. 10/10 would book see you at the wedding

"This felt like money wasted" - Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this bourbon tour based on my experience during Derby Week 2025. While the visits to Buffalo Trace and Jeptha Creed were enjoyable, it’s important to note that both distilleries offer free tours if booked in advance — yet we were charged over $200 per person, which does not reflect fair value. Additionally, the driver was unprofessional: braking abruptly throughout the trip, which made the ride uncomfortable and even unsafe at times. He also lacked fluency in English and was not familiar with Bourbon history, likely because he is not from the region. This took away from the educational aspect we were expecting. Overall, it felt like a poor return for the high cost. I recommend looking for another company that offers knowledgeable guides, safer transportation, and transparent pricing. Unfortunately, this felt like money wasted.

Last minute cancellation - bad communication - The travel operator cancelled 1 min before pickup. Stated that it was due to weather tornado alerts while it was bright and sunny. Later contacted us again stated that there was some confusion on the booking and was waiting at a different hotel even though they sent a confirmation of the itinerary. Ive purchased other excursions on viator. If there was ever a weather concern, usually the company calls and emails us 24 hours prior and follows up on the morning of the tour. A little disappointed especially and had to make last minute plans to visit other distilleries. Oh and with a party of 4 at $250 per person, i am still waiting for my refund.
