So much fun! - Nun and his Fsther were very accommodating as we needed to stop by a pharmacy and stock up on drugs. They took us to one and pre-ordered meds from a sister location for the remainder. We also got to see the various neighborhoods, sooo many lovely beaches, finally the Big Mall, RioMar. We also went to lunch at GHeller steakhouse- fantastic- lunch about $10 with BBQ off the skewer meat and huge buffet. Stops at the Cathedral, English Bridge and Pirate bar, too. We ran over time but never felt rushed or pushed. Highly recommend these guys!

Perfect Guides in Forteleza - Arrangements were made with owner Fabio thru Viator. Our guide was Carlos, and the driver was Charlton (whose mother named him after the star of the film Ben Hur). Fabio communicated promptly and gave us great information as we planned our visit. When our cruise ship was delayed 6 hours, Fabio quickly made adjustments and was ready for our arrival. Carlos and Charlton were a great team. Carlos is a second-year university student while Charlton is a taxi driver and provided the car. Carlos covered pop culture and the fun beaches, including the best place to get fresh fruit juices - I had an amazing cashew fruit juice, while travel companions had coconut and blends of fruits I suspect you'd have a hard time buying outside Brazil. When Carlos didn't know why a park was named after martyrs, he consulted Charlton and conferred in Portuguese for the answer. Charlton knew the best routes to take, and appeared in an instant when we were ready to move. Charlton's car was clean, comfortable, and nicely air conditioned. We saw Crocobeach, Varjota, Martyrs Square, the eponymous Fortress, the English Bridge/ Pier, the Jose Alencar Theatre, and the Central Market. We were back at the ship in perfect time. What a fantastic day. Amazing beaches. Music everywhere!

Thank you Nunes for this beautiful city tour! - Our guide was very friendly and predisposed. He showed us many tourist spots and told us many things about his city. It's worth taking the city tour if you don't have a car in town

Private city tour in Fortaleza. - Fábio is very punctual, cordial and friendly. The good thing about the tour with it is that you can adapt the tour to our taste, not becoming a busy tour.

Wonderful private tour of Fortaleza and Cumbuco Beach with Buggy ride. - We had an action packed day, that was designed around what we wanted to do. We visited the Central Market which was amazing! We saw the Cathedral, and many other historic sights. Then we headed to Cumbuco Beach for a buggy ride, followed by a visit to a popular beach hut for snacks and cold drinks. When we came back to Fortaleza we visited another beautiful beach. Our guide Sophia and driver Castelo were great and very flexible. We had a very comfortable van for the 6 of us, plus driver and guide. Awesome day! I highly recommend Fortal World Tours.

Fortaleza is three hours - It was OK tour. The young English speaker was fine except not always easy to understand, the driver was very good (Oleg) and often provided helpful additional details that younger guide was not sure about it. We enjoyed the tour except that our guide decided that the cutoff was at Noon assuming the start of the tour was at 8, but I provided a couple of days earlier that the cruise will allow us to get off the ship not before 9 am and got a response that this was OK. But in general we were able to see the most interesting sites of the city and even get a taste of Fortaleza ice cream.

Good tour - It was nice but we couldn’t get English speaker and they were about an hour late. Took us to several places and waited while we shopped. Driver was pleasant and tried his best to explain in Spanish

Viator should pick a different tour operator - First, after a couple of earlier communications with Fortal World Tours (arranged through Viator) to confirm details the tour guide was an hour late. My texts and calls to them from the port were unanswered. Viator did answer when I called them, but then the guide showed up. Though knowing my husband uses a wheelchair it required contortions to get it in the small trunk. I was aware we had to pay additional cash for an English-speaking guide, and her English was good. However the sweet lady knew little about the details of the city, as it seemed the driver was the knowledgeable one. He did drive us around to see the city, which was dingy and unremarkable, but we had to ask numerous questions about what we were seeing to find out history and significance of what we saw. We could have learned as much or more in a taxi if the driver spoke English. We did see some nice beaches, statues and monuments (had to ask what they were about), and a few interesting buildings. Viator needs to find a better supplier of tours for Fortaleza.
