Excellent - WOW! We spend a lot of time in Fort Pierce, but this was our first time trying a kayak tour. Clear Kayak and our guide, Todd, did not disappoint!! Todd’s knowledge of the lagoon’s ecological history, present conditions and current improvement efforts was so informative and interesting. The Lagoon itself was peaceful and beautiful. The tour was relaxing and not really physically taxing at all, especially with a tandem kayak. So much fun and we will be back for a sunset tour. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend a couple hours out in nature. - Our guide, Todd, was great! Super knowledgeable about the mangrove ecosystem and learned a lot. We saw female dolphins with their babies, puffer fish, stopped at a sand bar and looked for interesting things such as hermit crabs, fish, sting ray beds, mantis shrimp holes, etc. It was a fun tour. I’d love to come back for the night tour.

Twisting and Turning Through the Red Mangroves - I had a great time! I took the 2 hour 11 am-1 pm tour. I paddled 2 1/2 miles through the red mangrove tunnels. near the Fort Pierce inlet with one other couple and our tour guide Todd. Todd was a wealth of information on the natural history of the area. No alligators here because the water is brackish. The clear kayaks were as you can see what's under you..Unfortunately, the water was cloudy from a discharge from Lake Okeechobee. I found the kayak was a bit cumbersome. The wide width of the kayak sacrificed speed and maneuverability and I was frequently crashing into the mangroves and trying to avoid the land crabs that live in the mangroves . Nonetheless, I enjoyed myself and would recommend Get Up and Go Adventures.
