Mike has been leading over 700 expeditions in the stunning area of reef located in charming Lauderdale by the Sea since 2014. There is NO ONE who understands this reef more intimately! This special location, boasting a mix of hard and soft corals, vibrant sponges, and an array of diverse aquatic life, is only a short swim away from the coast! There’s no necessity for a lengthy boat ride! Provided the conditions are favorable, we frequently encounter angelfish, parrotfish, blue-headed wrasse, and sergeant majors. Rays of various kinds, sea turtles, eels, and nurse sharks (which are SAFE!) are also often sighted. In the distance, the picturesque town and the historic Anglin’s Pier become a splendid backdrop for your photos viewed from the water. Mike is a certified and insured Divemaster who will guide you through the most incredible parts of the reef and help identify most of the fish species you’ll encounter. Enjoy a personal, small-group experience, usually with 4-6 participants and never exceeding a group of 8.
