10/10. You don't want to miss this!!! - I don't normally write reviews, but this was an experience worth writing about. This is a hidden gem for the family. You get a millionnaires row tour on the boat with a comedic factor. The "island" is the privately owned property of the company and they could not have made it more beautiful or worthwhile to go. They made it feel like a jungle excursion and it was spectacular. The food was served family style and all of the servers are incredibly attentive and friendly. The food is all you can eat and delicious!!! We had some time to see the birds in their jungle huts prior to the show. The show was typical cheesy humor (which i absolutely live) but to make it even better, they incorporated crowd members for some of the acts. It was hilarious. It was absolutely worth every penny spent!!!

A Jungle Queen Evening Experience - Very friendly staff. Tour guide was informative and funny. Boat & restrooms were clean Attentive Bartenders. Show at the island was just enough with a bit of vaudeville feel. BBQ was really good and plenty of food with excellent service. All in all a great day into evening! They gave you a lot for $88 a person! Definitely recommend!

Great evening on the river - Booked this after seeing a lot of really good reviews and it did not disappoint! The tour was fun and insightful not to mention a beautiful view. The bridges opening for the boat was an added bonus! Dinner was GREAT and the show was okay. Would definitely consider going again

Great dinner & cruise - The cruise & dinner show were great! As suggested by another reviewer, it worked well to sit on the upper deck & right side to view the majority of the mansions that were pointed out therefore you need to get there early as the outer seats fill up fast. The dinner was fabulous; ribs & chicken tenders were very moist, the fries hot & crispy, & the corn bread was yummy! The entertainment was fine & the trip back was pretty with all the lights.

I recommend only daytime cruising and avoiding meals. - Excellent boat tour but the meal was not up to par for us because we are regulars and knew the menu from before. He changed the menu. He no longer had any roast chicken or shrimp or baked beans or coffee or tea and the coleslaw had changed to something less tasty. What we were offered was OK ribs breaded chicken potatoes fries cornbread. Show was OK. So I only recommend the boat tour on the day without meals.

Dissatisfied, not worth the price. - Very dissapointed, no baked beans, no shrimp and no dessert. Too pricey at $75 ea. And cutting items of the meal. Cold french fries and corn .

Would have loved to give a higher rating - This would have been a higher score had the company taken a moment to address the issues experienced during our cruise. I reached out to them to give them a chance to address this situation before I left a public review, it seems they have chosen not to respond. Below is the letter I sent them with the details of our experience. Good morning, Before leaving an online review, I wanted to reach out and share our experience with you. We came on the Jungle Queen to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. We had a lovely time aboard the cruise. However, I wanted to bring to your attention that our dinner experience was less than ideal. We were served ribs and chicken tenders promptly and on our plate was the corn, the table had fries and coleslaw on it but no condiments of any sort, such as BBQ sauce or ketchup. According to your site, we should have also enjoyed baked beans and cornbread with our meal but we did not have these items brought to us. We noticed servers that were in a pastel peach shirt that seemed to be bringing other tables drinks and other items, we never had a server like that, we simply had someone slapping meat on our plate, offering nothing else. Therefore, it does not feel like we received all we should have with our meal, I never had a chance to send a note up requesting birthday wishes for my husband, that made me sad. As I said, we loved our time but I thought you should be aware of these short comings and disappointment this created on a special occasion. As I know it's important to identify areas for improvement, I will attempt to give you an idea of our seating. We entered the dining room on the right hand side, as the main dining area appeared to have mostly large tables, we veered into what I would describe as a middle dining room and went to the far right end. Online Menu: All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Dinner St. Louis BBQ Ribs Hand-Battered Chicken Tenders Seasoned French Fries Baked Beans(Did not receive) Coleslaw Cornbread (did not receive) I do hope I'll get a response to this experience, I hope you're a company that cares what your customers have to say. I'll wait to post my online review for your response.

Shipwrecked Expectations: A Turbulent Voyage with the office staff on the Jungle Queen - I have been on the Jungle Queen dinner cruise every year for the past several decades and in some cases multiple times in a season. Whenever friends are in town, we take the cruise and always have a great time with great food with the show. Unfortunately, this past week we were on the Saturday Dinner Cruise (3/16/2024) and while on the boat, one of our guests on the cruise, suffered a medical emergency (no fault of the Jungle Queen) on the way to the dinner and show . The second we docked at the "Island" we notified the staff and were escorted to the rear of the property to catch an Uber and drove straight to the hospital. While the staff on the island (David if I remember correctly because it was a bit hectic) was kind, helpful, and quick to assist us, the office staff (Tiffany I believe was the person we spoke to the next day) was not. We inquired if we could get a refund, or a partial refund (since we didn't eat or drink anything, or see the show), or possibly a rain check, or something. She never returned our calls or emails to discuss this at all. This is all very unfortunate. While our guest, I am happy to say, is recovering, the Jungle Queen office staff should of at least responded to our calls and email. While I have enjoyed the same silly Jungle Queen jokes and the same stories about long-since-gone once famous people that most younger generations probably don't even know who they are, I am fairly certain that I will not be on another Jungle Queen Cruise again. So to the Jungle Queen management, keep the $356.89 we spent on the four tickets and use the money towards some much needed upgrades with your business model.
