Our Favorite Event on Martinique - You can take Bus #25 to Balata's Garden, it picks up close to the cemetery in Fort de France. Also go to Mosaic for round trip tickets, near the cemetery too. This botanical garden is lovely! Fun, too. We particularly enjoyed the tree walk.

Well worth the drive and admission price - We toured the Garden today, and it was beautiful! It is well laid out, and easy to get around if you are mobile. We arrived at 11:15 and departed around 1:30. The price was 14 Euros per adult. There is no senior discount. The pathways are well maintained, but steep in areas. Portions of the Garden are wheel chair accessible, but the pathways are not wide enough to accommodate them. If you need a walker, I would not recommend it. We were in a rental car, so I can't comment on taxi service.

One of my favorite places to visit in Martinique - This is one of my favorite botanical gardens in the world and that includes Europe and Asia. This place is so beautiful and peaceful, it is always a pleasure no matter the weather. Kudos to the landscape architects! It's a great place for a solo afternoon of meditation or some lovely family time. Side note: be there early because I have a feeling they close early when there is little to no visitors sadly.

Great Activity - Well organised and a great activity. Safe for all. Great to see the rain forest from within and above.

Step Up Your Game - The gardens were beautiful. However, at the entrance they did not seem to know what to do with a trip Advisor ticket. The person taking our ticket seemed annoyed as did the guests behind us as we were holding up the line. Step up your game if you are going to sell tickets on trip advisor!

National Public Transport, Roads Blocked Strike - Please can you refund all monies back into my account. When we arrived at Port on the morning, we found out that there was a strike, therefore all excursions were cancelled by the Tour Operators

Taxi too expensive - Bought tickets on line. Told bus was handy but not! Taxi too expensive so we lost our money for the tickets. Please be aware.
