Fun half day - Nice small group tour (8 people), comfortable minivan and not too long travelling. First stop was really interesting, a good vineyard with a great tour and good wine. Second vineyard was just a tasting but it was really good and we sat outside in a garden area.

Experience Wine making in Médoc-Margeaux, tasting too. - Our guide, Roldolphe, was very knowledgeable about the wine making process and business, and most of all, he entertained us thoroughly. It was mid-September and at the Pieuré Lichine winery, we saw the harvest in full swing, grapes being harvested, cleaned and sorted, and dropped into fermentation vats. This was part of an informative tour provided by the winery. This tour included almost every phase of the process. Then the tasting in a comfortable tasting room. Off to another winery for more tasting. During the whole trip Rodophe answered questions, made jokes, and played games. It was a very enjoyable tour, which we recommend highly.

Affordable wine tour. - Affordable wine tour. Good guide both on the bus and those at the vineyards. The price for the wines in the upper price range but good. The AC in the bus could have been better, but it was also a hot day, over 30 degrees.

Good plan, but flawed execution - Itinerary was good. Wineries were not fancy, but pleasant. Our driver, Maud, was a good guide, pleasant, knowledgeable about the region and wines. Reason for just 3 stars: the winery guide at the first winery, where we spent the majority of our time, spoke quickly, with a serious French accent, so that he was quite difficult to hear by the folks with good ears. For me, with just slightly impaired hearing, I understood almost nothing, so I eventually stopped trying, rendering his narrative useless to me.
