Highly recommend - Sam and Lindsey were the perfect guides. They were knowledgeable and supportive and clearly love their jobs. It was great to be able to bring water that they carried so you had no worries on the board. They took numerous pics too so no phones needed. The tour was peaceful and I felt like we had the river to ourselves. Even though we were in a group, it seemed that all of us were in awe of the surroundings and all were just enjoying nature. Seeing a dolphin jump in front of us was the highlight. I would do this again and highly recommend it for any age. The only complaint I have is that 90 minutes wasn't enough!

First timer loved it. - Shout out to Lindsey for being a great teacher. Made it look easy and it was even for me, 57 yrs old. I paddled well and didn't even "have fun" going for an accidental swim. She was also helping two kids learn, 10 and 11 years old, and a grandma and grandfather. The littles kept saying how much they loved the experience. I thought the trip would be more of an eco tour, but there really wasn't any tour. Not sure if it was because of the make-up of our group, or what.

Organized and well run tour - We did a 2 hour 9 am tour with Eric as our guide. The process was easy and fun. They answered the phone and called back when I left a message. They have a bathroom, changing room, storage for stuff you don’t take with you and generally this is a well run operation. They sell what you forgot to bring. The tour goes out the back of the property and you walk to the boat ramp. Eric does dry land training for 10 minutes and even my family of experienced SUP’ers learned some things. Eric carried our water bottles for us and they let you take off your flip flops after getting on the water. We went against the current for 45 minutes saw dolphins and birds and then we stopped and our guide explained the local water habitat. Really cool and well run operation.

LOVE IT!! - THE COOLEST THING EVER!! If you ever come down to SC and you have nothing to do, you need to go paddle boarding! The tour guide was awesome and extremely friendly and he showed us the best spots for dolphin sightings. We all at least saw 10 dolphins and they were extremely close to us! 10/10 experience.

Great place to have a fun time - My wife and I finally decided to go stand up paddleboarding. Reservations were easy. Doing the wavier online was nice so we could just show up and be ready to go. We had Eric as our tour guide and he was engaging and very nice. He got us in the water and paddling up the Folly River in no time. He gave us a great description of the local ecosystem and took us right where we needed to be to have a dolphin swim right by us. I would greatly recommend Charleston SUP Safaris to anyone that want to have a great time.

Highly recommend! - There were 10 of us. Age 15-50. Super easy staff to work with. We booked the 2 hour SUP morning tour. Answered all of our questions on the phone and super accommodating in person. John and Eric are outstanding! They took the time to explain all the details of SUP. On the water, they gave further instructions. Anything we forgot, they had available for purchase. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend them and go back ourselves!!
