Rob possesses a Masters endorsement on his Merchant Mariner Credential, Title 46 U.S. Code, and has been certified by The United States Coast Guard National Maritime Center.
Captain Rob is passionate about aiding individuals to discover their happiness and deal with sorrow. A single day spent at sea can dispel waves of sadness. Those who’ve been affected by tragedy, battled cancer, or served in combat are given first consideration. Purple Heart holders and Wounded Warriors are invited to fish at no charge (Advance telephonic coordination would be appreciated).
Everyone is invited to enjoy a day ‘at EASE’.
- Children of all ages are welcome. They must wear a Coast Guard Approved live jacket at all times.

Memories Made on the Choctawhatchee Bay - My family and myself joined Captain Rob for an Inshore Fishing on the Waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay. We have young adult children that found this trip to be a lot of fun especially our son who caught the largest fish (30" or so Red Drum). Captain Rob keeps everything very light and has a great sense of humor so there were a lot of laughs to be shared along with good fishing, a beautiful, clean boat and great weather. I would highly recommend this charter for people of all ages.

This was a wonderful last... - This was a wonderful last minute experience for our family. My kids are older but we did the 2 hour experience meant for the younger ones due to our schedule restraints but they still enjoyed it. Captain Rob was wonderful and patient. He was so easy to talk to. Our family will definitely book again when we come back!

Best Fishing Trip Ever Booked! - Hands down the BEST fishing trip I’ve ever booked! Captain Rob is an absolute professional. He made this a very memorable experience for our family, especially our 6 year old who was a first timer. From the minute you set foot on his boat, you feel like family. We will definitely book again when we come back!

Fun experience for the whole family! - My boys and I had a great time on the water with Captain Rob. He is very knowledgeable, kind, patient, and it felt like we were fishing with a family friend. L4K is the best charter option in Destin area!

Great fishing and great guide service - Captain Rob gave us a great experience and put us on tons of fish. With two younger kids he made sure everyone always had bait on their line and would help the kids cast to the spots if needed. Will definitely rebook the next time we are down in the area

Best fishing trip ev-ah - This trip completely exceeded all our expectations! While searching for a fishing charter in Destin, we narrowed the search for trips available the days we were traveling and staying in Fort Walton. L4K Charter popped up as an option. We almost passed on it as it’s docked in Niceville, but don’t pass it up. So worth the drive from Destin/Fort Walton Beach area. Because it was available the day we needed and was highly rated, we booked without much more investigation. Captain Rob reached out the next morning after booking to send information about the charter and also messaged the day before we fished. There are things you hope for on a fishing trip: comfortable boat, safe guide, and hope you get some bites and maybe get something big enough to brag about in the future. Then there are the things you didn’t even think you needed: a patient and compassionate person who doesn’t judge if you can’t cast accurately or far enough who knows exactly where to go to be on the fish and keep the fishing going with lapses. I don’t know how much bait we went through, but I have always booked fishing trips knowing it was more for my husband than myself, but I truly had a wonderful time! After our trip, I went onto L4K’s website (we didn’t realize he had one before our trip). He’s a Marine veteran giving back to veterans who need it in a beautiful way. Captain Robs motto is “No coincidences, making memories.” His interactions with strangers is genuine and we feel honored we got to spend a few hours with him on his beautiful boat.

Fishing with my Boys - Captain Rob knew exactly where to find the fish and give me and my boys a great experience. They have not stopped talking about how much fun they had and are hooked on fishing now. He baited the hooks for them, cast them, and safely removed the fish for them when caught. The boat was extremely clean and well kept up. Safety was a priority for the captain. Great trip!

Unforgettable Experience - This fishing charter is a MUST! My husband and I and our four children ranging from 15yrs to 10months had an unforgettable experience. Captain Rob was not only extremely personable but also very knowledgeable. He ensured each of the kids (minus the baby) caught multiple fish of multiple species. He kept us informed and safe as we explored the world of fishing. This experience was well worth the time and money spent. If we are ever in the area again you can bet on us booking again!
