We visited The Uffizi on... - We visited The Uffizi on a Sunday with our private guide Mike, who was knowledgeable and personable. We entered the gallery just as it opened, and consequently we were able to admire the art without the crowds. Because there were just two of us and the guide, we were able to get up close to pieces we had long read about and seen in art books. It was a moving experience. Mike asked us initially if there was an artist or painting that was a “ must see”, and we appreciated him tailoring the morning to our preferences. Highly recommend a private tour.

An obvious must for Florence - Very important gallery to see with very important art works and history. Very crowded and loud so wish we had ear phones. Our guide. Was very sweet and on time and knew a lot but her English was hard to understand.
