Immersive history of the Renaissance in 90 minutes. - I have been to the Gallerie Uffitzi twice before, but neither experience (including one with a guide) compared to this one. Our guide was not only extremely knowledgeable, but had a clear passion for her subject. Instead of 'this is a room, here are the works that are most important', we were immersed in the story of the evolution of Renaissance painting, art, and politics in such a way that even my 13-year-old stayed engaged the whole time. I would definitely do it again.

professional and good teacher - Our guide helped us art novices understand the profession of painters in that era. I recommend but be careful after leaving the cafe to not reenter another wing of the museum and add 20 minutes trying to get to the exit.

Amazing Ilaria, outstanding guide - Our guide, Ilaria, was amazing. She was knowledgeable of the artwork and understanding of some of the physical imitations of our group. She allowed us to rest, grab water and still see entire gallery. Her insightfulness knowledge and patience make her one of the best tour guides we have had in recent memory.

Amazing Ilaria guide - Our Tour guide Ilaria, was amazing. Our group was not the fastest moving and we stopped many times to recover. She continued to share her knowledge while we were resting and gave a complete and insightful tour. Bravo!!

would love to learn more about Renaissance art - I enjoyed the information provided but me personally, I wish we explored more of the Renaissance art and less of the medieval art. We spent about an hour on art that just wasn’t important to me personally. I wish we spent more time going over the Renaissance art and we did not go over Caravaggio at all, which I thought was a flop. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a lot of information to give us. She was absolutely amazing. Only reason this is not getting five stars is because I personally thought that we spent way too much time on medieval or art that was not renaissance. Florence is a representation of Renaissance and I would more, like to explore Renaissance art then older art pieces. This is just my perspective.
