- Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
- Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

Perfect Adventure for Wine Drinkers - Our bus driver/tour guide, Leo, was fantastic. He provided some great history and trivia for the drive and was extremely friendly and funny. The wines were amazing and the food at the 2nd stop delicious. Fortunately for us the weather was perfect, so the hillside vistas were spectacular. Staff at both wineries were very personable and provided great service.
By the time the tour was over I was ready to buy a Tuscan villa and become a wine making apprentice. Cheers!

A Journey with ‘family’ - What a wonderful morning excursion to wine country in the Tuscany countryside. The bus was very comfortable and our driver made us feel safe while winding through the Florence traffic and out to the hills in the country. Our guide engaged the travelers with history and personal family stories that made us feel like part of the family. It was an excellent trip and I would do it again, and again. Thank you so much!

This great tour completed our Florence vacation. - This trip was the perfect addition to our 3 days in Florence. Our tour guide and driver were fun and knowledgeable. The group was a good size and the bus, 2 Chianti region vineyards, views along the way, timing of the trip were all just right.

Hoot with Jason - Jason Allesio was very entertaining and made the experience a hoot. We did the afternoon tour, drank lots of great Chianti and took a million pictures.

Such a fun experience... - Such a fun experience filled with great wine, wonderful ambiance, and lots of laughs. Our guide, Jason, was humorous and so kind! Not to mention we had the best driver Alessio! Tasty wines at both wineries and delicious snacks as well. Would recommend to anyone we know!

Both vineyards were... - Both vineyards were excellent and we had so much food we had to cancel our evening meal reservations. Plenty of wine and was great to get out of Florence for a few hours to see the Tuscan countryside. It was good that it wasn't super informative on the winemaking process as I've been there and done that before - very focused on the wine tasting + food + socialising with others on the trip.

Best day ever with LEO - Our day with Leo was absolutely incredible. He was funny, warm, and kind from the moment we met him, and his deep knowledge of wine, history, and local culture made the experience both educational and enjoyable. He was incredibly patient, answered every question with enthusiasm, and tailored the tour perfectly to our pace and interests.
Leo went above and beyond — he took so many great pictures of us throughout the day and knew all the best scenic spots and hidden gems. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and his genuine love for what he does made the entire experience unforgettable.
If you’re looking for someone who combines expertise, hospitality, and great humor, ask for Leo. He truly made our trip one to remember.
