Highlights
  • Viale IV Novembre, 35 - Culinary tradition is a protagonist of Tuscan culture, and a major part of the experience visiting the region.
We will be hosted in an organic farm, in the heart of Chianti Classico area. A typical farmhouse where a Tuscan family lives since many generations. It’s a charming set up, surrounded by rows of vines, olive groves, flowers and vegetable gardens. Here we will have to roll our sleeves up and start cooking our meal. With the help of a
local Tuscan Lady you will learn traditional secrets of our cuisine as well as cooking techniques. Success is guaranteed.
Starters like bruschettas and crostini, cold cuts, cheeses and their pairing with honeys and jams. Pasta, and its fascinating world. We will make our own fresh home-made pasta from scratches, the old-fashioned way with a
wooden rolling pin! Since any great meal ends with a dessert, we will be making something traditional to be enjoyed at the end of our lunch too.

Additional Information

Italy’s culinary customs are deeply rooted in its culture, particularly in this region where food takes center stage in the cultural experience. We will be guests at an organic farm, nestled in the core of the Chianti Classico area. This typical farmhouse, home to a Tuscan family for many generations, is idyllic with neat rows of vines and olive trees enveloping it. This is where we begin our culinary adventure. A local Tuscan woman will guide us, sharing the age-old secrets and techniques of our cuisine, ensuring a successful culinary journey.

We start with appetizers like bruschettas and crostini, along with cold cuts, cheeses, and their perfect complements - honeys and jams. Pasta making is up next, where we will knead fresh homemade pasta from scratch using a traditional wooden rolling pin. Of course, no fabulous meal is complete without a dessert.

The experience includes a tasting of the various wines and spirits produced on the farm, as well as a tour of the property and the wine-making facility.

Wonderful - This was the best tour on this trip. Our driver, Gabrielle, was perfect. We did a small group, private cooking class and it was so much fun. We went to Agriturismo Amina, where our hostess, Cinzia, took over. It’s a small B&B and we learned to make homemade pasta, sauce, and Tiramisu. What a day. We drank her own wine, ate the food we made, and tasted her olive oil. Superb day. Highly recommend.
