This tour of Florence was... - This tour of Florence was amazing! We travelled during low season, so we had a private tour with Mario. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to the main sights and some hidden, off the beaten paths of Florence that gave us an even deeper appreciation for the city. The history, culture, impact of Florence is unparalleled and there can be a lot to take in. Mario made it feel like a storytelling tour, setting us up to observe, awe, and digest some of the most incredible stories in history! We highly recommend this experience.

Perfect way to start your trip - Manuel did such a wonderful job of grounding us in Florence of today and of the past. I definitely recommend taking the tour at the beginning of your trip, as we did, as it's a fun way to get a frame for everything you're about to see. I appreciated the tour more and more, as I came to understand throughout the course of my trip how much of Florence's older history is buried. It made it all the more impressive the way Manuel brought it to light!

A True VIP Tour - This was by far the best tour we did while in Italy. It's a very small group of only 5-6 and our tour guide Mario gave a true insider's feel into the City of Florence and it's extensive history. Many tours say they will show you the less touristy parts but this taught us where they were and how we could continue to observe and learn on our own. The final treat was a curated recommendation of places to enjoy afterwards. Thank you!

The perfect start to a few days in Florence - This was the perfect way to start our stay in Florence. Our guide was Manuel, and he gave us a whole new perspective on the city: the stories of the Medici family; a look at daily life in Medieval and Renaissance Florence; how that history influences the Florence of today. We've continued to reference things that Manuel told us, and we're spotting those historical throughlines around every corner. This will be one of the highlights of our trip.
