- Via Coluccio Salutati, 3 - An afternoon dedicated to the Florentine Renaissance sculpture par excellence: Michelangelo’s David. In the artistic studio of Octavio Palomino a sculpture workshop will be held through the technique of the lost form in plaster, obtaining a copy of an anatomical detail of Michelangelo’s David. You can sculpt yourself with a mallet and chisel your plaster sculpture.

WOW - Wow! What an incredible experience! It was difficult at first but Octavio was such a great teacher and guided me each step of the way. I’ve always admired sculpting and have been awestruck by the statue of David, but it was only after doing this class that I gained a whole new understanding and appreciation of the work, artistry and patience it takes to produce such masterpieces. Will definitely be back to take another class!

Fantastic experience in Florence must do - Absolutely fantastic experience. We had so much fun and he is such a good teacher. It’s such a well Run studio. We had a blast.

I can’t imagine being in Florence and not doing this! - Everything was great! From the beginning till the end… we had so much fun learning about sculpting with Octavio! It was special to enter an intimate studio in Florence and work our hands like the greats did, it brought so much perspective! I would 100% recommend. Very special place with a very special family!

I learned so much in a fre hours - I didn’t know that it was so hard for Michelangelo to make the David. I only made an eye of plaster and he made the whole sculpture out of marble. The teachers were both very nice!

Amazing Art Experience With Octavio!! - Loved this class and Octavio is a fantastic teacher! This class is for any true art aficionado who wants to see Florence in a different light, by experiencing it! Sculpting is a fascinating way to understand the works of Michaelangelo and this class gave me a new appreciation for their works!!

SUCH A GREAT SCULPTURE EXPERIENCE WITH A MASTER! - I was at the Octavio's Sculpture Studio and I was so happy to have my own Michelangelo's sculpture.. I will rembember this experience forever.. Great job, great sculpture, great studio, great teacher.. Everything great!
