A wonderful city, which you need to allocate at least 2 days. - Florence, in my opinion, is an open-air museum. I really liked this city. My wife was dissatisfied with him, said that she expected more. For her, the whole architecture is boring, monotonous, and unimpressive. To me, on the contrary, it seemed that the city perfectly shows the Renaissance, all the exhibits and architecture are designed in the right style. We did not visit all the attractions that we had planned, because in the middle of the day it began to rain heavily. All photos are attached. If you have the opportunity, visit all the most important sights, we followed the following route: Mercato Nuovo, San Miniato al Monte, Piazza della Repubblica, Basilica of Santa Croce, Palazzo Pitti, Piazzale Michelangelo, Galleria dell'Accademia, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Santa Maria del Fiore, The Uffizi Galleries. We also visited the Museo Casa di Dante, I can not say that I really liked this museum, but if there is an opportunity, it is worth getting to know Dante Alighieri better, because he made a great contribution to the development of the city according to the guide. We had lunch at the restaurant Matto Matto, here is an exclusive Italian cuisine, delicious food, selected according to reviews, liked the place, good service, everything was quickly prepared. It turned out to be expensive – about 50 euros, but we did not deny ourselves anything. We took excursions around the city, because it was difficult to organize trips to the sights ourselves. But because of this, they were tied to other tourists. I advise you to explore all the places yourself, but for this you need to have a few days in Florence. One day is not enough. The city is very interesting, and we only spent an hour at The Uffizi Galleries.

Wonderful introduction to Florence. - So glad that we selected this walking tour for our first evening in Florence. It was a wonderful orientation to this beautiful city which has so many treasures. Glenda is excellent - very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. Her love for Florence is contagious and made us appreciate all the more the treasures we encountered. Her recommendations were most helpful. Great tour!

Definitely worth it! - We enjoyed every bit of this tour and it was a neat surprise that the tour ended up with just the 2 of us so it was a private tour! Daniel was full of knowledge and communicated well. He knew a lot of history but also some neat trivia. He was warm and friendly and had a great sense of humour! We had lots of questions and he was able to answer them all really well. The time passed way too quickly and we learnt a LOT for sure. Would recommend this for sure, especially if you have a limited time for your visit, as you wouldn't know to do any of this on your own - it is well worth it!
