• Duomo di Pisa - Located in the heart of Piazza dei Miracoli, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is a medieval Catholic church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin and serves as the episcopal seat of Pisa.
• Leaning Tower of Pisa - Did you know it initially leaned in one direction before tilting the other way? From here, we’ll return to the bus and head to Florence.
• Piazza Santa Croce - Our first stop in Florence is Piazza Santa Croce, home to the Basilica di Santa Croce, one of Italy’s most significant Franciscan churches. Known for its unique Gothic architecture, it is the final resting place of notable figures like Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Niccolò Machiavelli, and Dante Alighieri.
• Piazza del Duomo - Explore the magnificent Piazza del Duomo, the main square in Florence’s heart. Famous for its breathtaking architecture, it is surrounded by landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and Giotto’s Campanile. You’ll have free time to wander and discover the city on your own.
• Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore - Also known as Il Duomo, this iconic cathedral is celebrated for its distinctive dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi, an architectural marvel of the Renaissance. It is renowned for its red-tiled dome, marble façade, and Giotto’s bell tower.
• Basilica of Santa Maria Novella - This stunning 15th-century Dominican church features frescoes by Gothic and early Renaissance masters.
• Ponte Vecchio - Stroll across the Vecchio Bridge and learn about the history of the shops that line both sides. Traditionally used by merchants, especially jewelers and goldsmiths, these shops are suspended over the river and supported by columns.
• Piazza della Signoria - The central square of Florence, Piazza della Signoria, is the seat of civil power with the “Old Palace” and serves as the heart of the city’s social life.

• This tour has a very tight itinerary and the distances in the cities are great. From Rome to Pisa there is a 4h ride and the same back from Florence. We do not recommend it for people with mobility problems. The pace of the visit is demanding.
• Please note, this tour travels between the cities by bus, and you will be on this bus for several hours. Specifically the journey from Rome to Pisa lasts approximately 4 hours, and the same for the return to Rome from Florence
• You will enjoy Pisa and Florence at your own pace, but you can always count on your tour leader for any doubt or requirement.
