Brilliant Tour of Duomo - A brilliant tour guide who was an art restorer and therefore had passion for all she showed us. Fascinating out and the museum was a particular highlight. To see the originals of the Baptistry doors was wonderful! We also climbed the tour which provided fabulous views of the City. Would strongly recommend

A must-do! - This tour was very informative, thanks to our guide Camilla. We learned so much about the Baptistry and its purpose. At the Duomo museum, we had a better appreciation of the design and stories depicted on the baptistry door, and why it leads to the entry of the Duomo cathedral when it opens up. We had a look at the design of the Duomo before it came to how it is now, as well as segments of the cathedral in closer view. Everyone says there's nothing to see inside the Cathedral, e.g., frescoes & paintings. When we skipped the line to get inside, Camilla explained that this was because the cathedral was designed especially for worship. Even to this day, masses are celebrated twice a day before and after it opens to the public. The Duomo complex, museum and Baptistry can be done on your own. But we highly recommend this tour because you get to skip the long line to get inside the cathedral, and you get to see and learn about the museum and Baptistry highlights from an expert. Also, the ticket includes entry to the museum and a climb up the bell tower (the ticket will specify your time slot).

Worth doing - Super informative guide, fantastic sights, small group. It was information overload, as it always is, but our guide was calm and communicated exceptionally well, so most of it sunk in!

It’s completely worth it - Far exceeded expectations! Our tour guide was an expert in art history and shared comprehensive and interesting facts while welcoming questions from the crowd. It’s worth book solely for someone keeping time for each attraction and passing the time in line hearing facts about the exterior.

Beautiful facade - The exterior was amazing but when you enter into he duomo it was a little underwhelming as compared to what you will see when you are outside. But nevertheless it was still an enjoyable tour. We had a really good and patient guide even though there was some really difficult people in the group but she handled it perfectly and was super kind and polite. She was able to easily explain all the important artifacts inside the museum and history of how the basicilia and clock tower was built.
