Must see in Florence. - We stayed overnight in Florence to ensure we made the early morning tour to see ‘David’. We got there a few mins late and contacted the tour operator CAF to get our tickets. A woman answered and sent us a map link to find their location to pick up our tickets that allows us to skip the line. About a 15min walk we located the building and made our way up to the 2nd floor, rang the bell and a man appeared and gave us the tickets and asked my name to confirm he was giving the tickets to the right people. I thought that was funny since you have to really search to find this location. We made our way back, and inside past very long lines now. David did not disappoint. Great experience a must in Florence. CAF Tours is great and very reputable.

It worked, check official site first - It worked. Found the meeting point quite easily, and got into the Accademia Gallery. Make sure to check the official site for availability first, as tickets will be cheaper. This is a great option IF the official tickets are out of stock.

Bucket list ✔️ Did not disappoint! - I’m so grateful we were able to get this tour in our schedule! Super interesting. Lots of great historical insights. Wonderful tour guide. The Accademia ( & the David!) did not disappoint! A bucket list item for me, and I’d gladly go again.

Works best during busy seasons - The contact made sure we all stood in line in advance, handed us a ticket, and walked us to the entrance. Quick and efficient for access. No additional information or resources provided with "Skip the line" tour.

Entry a tad confusing at first ..but its actually very well organised ! - Obtaining your "B" (blue) ticket on line (& well in advance ! or you'll neve get in at the lowest "official" price is the Number One priority. IUts requires a lot of concentration & perseverance /dedication because there's a great deal of advertised re-selling of tix that tempt you to pay more for "priority" entry. At a higher price! And whilst these options are legitimately offering extra services of various kinds , if you just wish to go into the gallery --& especially see Uncle David--the "B" ticket is the way to go ! Very close to the modestly small & presented ENTRY, are MANY different lines of entry .. the one you look for confusingly DOES NOT mention the "B " ticket in ant way (very Italian! ) But your cue is there's a flip card on a stick close to the main door & it mentions "priority entry "..THAT'S the one you're looking for ! The numerous guys patrolling the various queue lines set up either side of the Gallery Entry are extraordinarily patient with confused prospective attendees continuously asking where they should go ?what queue they should they be in? & I must pay them the courtesy of being so obliging. Management could surely do even more to ease all of this ..but this is what it is & its pretty good given all the possibilities of it being even more chaotic! ! # Absurdly you have your entry ticket meaninglessly electronically rescanned a SECOND time INSIDE the gallery building immediate to entering the gallery proper--- so don't heave a sigh of relief once inside, & put that precious ticket away anywhere! ...Oh and "HE " is absolutely worth all of this ..the then 26 yeor old Michelangelo's sculptural masterpiece will blow you away ...

Don’t USE Third Party ticket buyer - Please don't buy tickets via third parties. What the third party groups do is purchase tickets, tell you to meet in the square nearby, they give you a printed copy. This person who gives you the ticket is the ‘host’. I misunderstood as I thought this would be the English speaking host that takes me around museum. I paid 30 Euros to receive what I thought was an English speaking ‘host’. I could have purchased a reserved place via the offical website. I thought I was on offical site as the ‘Headout’ site had all the correct logos. (see photo for Headout logo) The museum is not as large as I thought and honestly if it’s only David you want to see, see the replica in the square, Piazza della Signoria (Duomo Square), just opposite the Palazzo Vecchio (Old Palace). I did not have photo ID so couldn’t purchase the audio guide either. (Not a big miss-descriptions are in English) Staff at the Museum were quite rude as I was asking for help. I advise them be kind to tourists.
