Highlights
  • Galleria dell’Accademia - The Accademia Gallery is one of the most exciting museums in the world. Smaller than the Uffizi Gallery, it offers a collection of unique treasures that make a visit a must during your stay in Florence.

This tour was developed with the help of specialists in Art History. As a result, you will be able to see one of the museum’s jewels, that are overlooked by many other agencies: the collection of musical instruments in the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini.

This section includes an original Stradivarius from 1690 made by Antonio Stradivari for the Great Prince, and the first modern piano, which was invented in Florence.

You will then move on to the museum’s other treasures by Michelangelo, and unveil their secrets in the greatest detail. Afterwards, you will discover the artistic pinnacle of Michelangelo’s magnificent David, the symbol of the city of Florence. We will delight you with the secrets and entertaining anecdotes that only these professional guides know.

As the fast entrance ticket is included, your quick entry is guaranteed which ordinary visitors don’t get. After the guided tour is over you can remain in the museum and continue exploring

Very interesting, lots of information - The guide was great, given it was quite a small tour, it was still fascinating to learn all the facts and associated stories

A highly recommended tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Elizabeth as a guide - The guide, Elizabeth, was friendly, knowledgeable and energetic, bringing art history to life with her anecdotes. Time flew quickly as she effortlessly guided us through the galleries, paying careful attention to everyone in the group. Her stories left me wanting to read more about the artists I enjoyed this tour and would recommend any tour that Elizabeth leads

Worth seeing The David, but… - The guide was very knowledgeable on the pieces of work. Seeing The David was incredible and if it weren’t for that, I would probably rate this tour less. I’m going with 3 stars because she could not control the weather and it sucked. Rainy and cold with umbrellas everywhere. The Gallery was running more than an hour behind and I think we could have been in sooner had we been able to find our guide at our meeting location. We finally found her after I called the tour company 2x. She had a tiny, handwritten sign in blue ink and was leaning against the wall. Didn’t have it raised and it was facing down. That was super annoying. Then we got to go wait in line with our “Skip the line” tickets. We almost left when we finally found her. I’m glad we stayed because the David was just incredible.
