• Stalheimskleiva - The next destination is the Stalheim Hotel, a site with a rich history tied to Norway’s postal service dating back to 1647. The hotel and its terrace are closed from late September to May, but an alternative viewpoint nearby can be accessed with a short walk up a moderately steep path.
• Stalheimsfossen - For hiking enthusiasts, there’s an option to hike down the Stalheimskleiva road (currently closed due to an avalanche, but accessible on foot), offering views of two waterfalls: Stalheimsfossen and Sivlefossen.
• Gudvangen - After enjoying the waterfalls, the journey continues to the historic Viking Town of Gudvangen, where the stunning Nærøyfjord begins (a UNESCO World Heritage site). You may choose to extend your stay in Gudvangen by visiting the Viking Town of Njardarheimr, where you can meet modern-day Vikings and delve into their history and culture. This visit is optional, and the entrance fee is not included (adults: 20 EUR / 22 USD, children: 10 EUR / 11 USD). Alternatively, more time can be spent appreciating the natural splendor of the western fjords.
• Stegastein Lookout - From Gudvangen, your guide will drive you to the Stegastein viewpoint, situated 2130 feet (650 m) above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the Aurlandsfjord.
• Flåm - The tour concludes with a descent from the Stegastein viewpoint to Aurland, the local administrative center, and back to Flåm.
