Beginning with the stunning Oak Creek Canyon, one of America’s most scenic drives, followed by a visit to the Sunset Crater’s lava flows, and the exploration of 2800 Pueblos at the Wupatki National monument. It’s a journey across the ancient landscapes much like the natives did, which prepares every visitor for the awe-inspiring experience at the Grand Canyon (we are the only company that offers visits to multiple spots in each park). Before entering the Canyon, we pause for lunch at the well-known Cameron Trading post, and then we proceed towards the East entrance. There, we explore four points of interest to fully appreciate the day. We finally exit through the south entrance. An additional hour is spent walking along the Rim path at the last stop, in Grand Canyon Village.

Amazing experience two days in a row!!!! - You will not regret either of these tours with Conner! My family of 5 took the Antelope Canyon full day tour (+ Glen Canyon Dam, Cameron Trading post and a bonus dinosaur track side trip) and the VIP Grand Canyon tour (+ Pueblo ruins and volcanic rock walk) and had an unforgettable time! Conner is so knowledgeable and shared so much about the ancient history, geology, the formations of the canyons, as well as information about the flora and fauna in the areas we drove through . The drives were long but Conner always kept us entertained! Would recommend him highly to any one who wants a once in a lifetime experience!!

Grand Canyon ultimate tour with Connor…amazing! - Wow!!!! There is no way to describe how fabulous Connor was and how much we enjoyed this tour!!! Our daughter and her 16 year old twins were with us. It was hard for them to imagine being in a van for 11 hours to see the Grand Canyon. They/we had no idea what all there was to see on the drive from Sedona. We had driven to Antelope Canyon the day before on our own. We saw beautiful sites but no idea WHAT it was we were seeing. Connor described what we were seeing, history behind it and opened our eyes to just how amazing Arizona is. The pictures we took and Connor took of us, will be treasured forever. My husband and I saw the Grand Canyon 13 years ago. We did not have a guide. It was beautiful to see but we had no idea what we were looking at. Don’t make that mistake. If you take the time to go, see it the right way. We took the same group to Jackson Hole two years ago. They compared the trips many times during the week. Connor made it an easy choice to have Sedona and the Grand Canyon win out. Connor…from the bottom of our Alabama (War Eagle) hearts…thank you for an amazing experience.

Fabulous Grand Canyon Tour! - My wife and took 3 full day private tours with Conner and Dynamic Journey Tours. I have previously reviewed DJT's Ultimate Arizona Petrified Forest and Painted Desert Tour which was simply fabulous. Conner's Ultimate Grand Canyon Tour was equally wonderful. These are the words we would use to describe Conner: Friendly, Engaging, Entertaining, Courteous, Extremely Knowledgeable, Accommodating, Punctual, Responsible and Responsive. Conner is also a safe, excellent driver, and his van is very clean and well kept. Conner is really the "ultimate tour guide." As for the tour itself, we had an awesome experience exploring one of the wonders of nature, the Grand Canyon. The tour started with a trip to Sunset Volcano Crater where you can walk on and touch the old lava flows. Next was an educational journey to visit ancient Native American ruins at Wupatki National Monument. After a delicious lunch at the Cameron Trading Post, it was on to the Grand Canyon. Conner led us to the best viewing points along the canyon rim to take in the expansive views. He purposely timed our visit to the gradual setting of the sun so that the lighting was optimal. All in all, we had a memorable experience. The last tour we took with Conner is not listed but was a specially arranged full day trip to Monument Valley in Northern Arizona. This is where all the iconic scenery in the old Western movies was shot. Fabulous scenery and another unforgettable experience. We would whole-hearted recommend taking a tour with Conner and DJT. His tours are well planned, well executed, and well paced. We saw everything we wanted to see and never felt rushed. He helped take great photos for us when requested. He really met and exceeded all of our expectations in every way.

Amazing experience - We booked this tour looking for a full day experience and were amazed with the breadth and depth of Connors knowledge about the land. He really took his time to go into detail about the spiritual background of the Grand Canyon, understood indigenous people lore, and brought it back to life for our family to understand. Walking on the hardened lava flow at Sunset crater was a surreal experience, and was worth it to get a feel for why people left the area. Seeing the remains at Wupatki was also an interesting look into the Pueblo culture and the ways their communities were built. We had kids, ages 9, 12, and 14, and he took pit stops along the way for lunch, and snacks. All in all, Connor was the best part of this experience, and with a private tour you go at your own pace, and can spend as much or as little time as you want at each stop.
