Our experienced guides will take you on a kayaking journey through the beautiful fjord, providing you with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife.
Siglufjörður is known across Iceland for its history and outstanding natural beauty. On this tour we adapt our kayak training to meet your needs before setting off in search of adventure and wildlife.
We will discover the local geology and natural history that created the landscape as we see it today and the human influence that continues to shape it.
In our beginner friendly, small groups, we paddle together at a relaxed pace to explore Siglufjörður and “leave no trace”.

Sigló Sea - highly recommended - My daughter and I booked a private guided kayak tour during a cruise ship visit to Siglufjörður. Tom and Laken were welcoming and knowledgeable; their equipment was top notch. It was easy to find their location and the information Tom shared about the town and its history enhanced our experience.
I booked a private tour as I didn't have kayak experience and didn't want to slow down a group, but we probably could have joined a group tour with no problem. But it was nice having Tom to ourselves!

Kayaking in Siglufjordhur was a one in a life time experience! - Kayaking in Siglufjordhur an amazing experience ! Tom was extremely knowledgeable. Did a wonderful job explaining the history of the town and surrounding area. There is also plenty of wildlife to look at as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Beautiful kayak trip with local history - We had a lovely time kayaking with Tom in the fjord. He provided dry suits with a much-needed tutorial on how to put them on. They kept us dry and warm as we casually paddled to different sites in the fjord. Tom was a wealth of information about the town and area. I’d highly recommend this tour!

Lovely kayak experience on the fjord - Amazing experience with Laken on the water. Lovely people, caring, smiling, enthusiastic about their beautiful region and very friendly in their approach. The kayaking itself was very nice, with a 2-hour tour around the fjord which allowed us to discover its history and key sites, in an easy and leisurely way. Laken also sent us nice pics afterwards. An adventure not to be missed !

Fantastic paddle to the lighthouse. - We had absolutely the best paddle out to the light house. We had some fog that thankfully lifted over time so we got to see the fantastic views. Thanks Laken for being such a terrific guide.

Sea Kayaking at its best - We had a memorable morning kayaking with Siglo Sea, blessed with great weather. We are inexperienced sea kayakers and Laken, our guide, could not have made our day more relaxing or less stressful. We toured the harbour area and then ventured across the fjord to visit the remains of an old herring factory and learn more about Siglufjordur’s amazing history. Our time on the open water was one of the highlights of our magnificent holiday in Iceland. We are already planning to return for more Sea Kayaking next year. Thank you Siglo Sea.

Fantastic experience - kayaking with Siglo Sea in Siglufjörður was fantastic! The guides were knowledgeable, the equipment was top-notch, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend their kayaking adventures to anyone visiting the area. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

Great Kayak experience - Very nice kayak trip. Beautiful scenery and crystal clear water. We were provided with a nice warm dry suit. Our guide Laken was really friendly and told us a lot about the nature and the town.
She also gave a lot of tips what to do in the area.
