Great jungle adventure! - This was an amazing day in the reserve, we heard the monkeys howling and saw them on some distance. We also saw lots of butterflies, some colibries and a coral snake! The vegetation was amazing too and we really walked inside the jungle, sometimes a bit challenging climbing over rocks and slippery slopes. An adventure for sure! Passed a couple of beautiful waterfalls as well and had a shower! Our guide Juan David was great, teaching us about plants and animals and helped everyone along the way! Thanks 🙏

Great experience - The tour in itself is absolutely beautiful, inside a lush tropical forest with a river and waterfalls, perfect for people who want to be immersed in nature. We were lucky and we could spot several monkeys, of course they don’t come too close because they’re wild animals but just watching them in their natural environment was so beautiful. And a special thanks goes to David our guide who was patient and professional with us beginners. Absolutely recommended.

Fantastic excursion with excellent guide. To recommend! - We booked the excursion "Looking for the Howler Monkey" and we found it!!! David came to pick us up in Salento and Jaime was our guide during the excursion. A Willys jeep came to pick us up in Filandia to take us to the beginning of the jungle tour. It is not a tour for people with mobility problems, but for a moderately fit person, it is a fantastic excursion, in a magical environment. Jaime knows the environment very well and gave us many explanations about what we saw. Without him, we would never have found the monkeys. Excited, we were able to watch them for a long time. Then, we continue the walk to a waterfall located in an idyllic place. We spent a very pleasant morning. On our way back to Filandia, we went to have a wonderful meal at a restaurant recommended by David. After lunch, we walked through Filandia, which is a beautiful town. Around 4:00 p.m., we called David who came to pick us up to return to Salento. To recommend without the slightest doubt. The excursion is truly worth it and the Rural Adventure staff deserve a 10 for their kindness and professionalism.

Recommended experience - Incredible natural landscape in which we took a walking tour through a beautiful forest with waterfalls and a small river, as well as spectacular views from the top of several areas. In addition to this we were able to see the howler monkeys several times (from a distance, of course).

Poverty - Quite an expensive walk. The only thing I saw was one monkey. Big disappointment, I expected more! In Colombia you can see and experience much more for less money or even for free.
