Windy Walk through St. Andrew’s - We met Carol at noon on a very windy day. Because we had 13:30 lunch reservations at the Jigger Inn, She reversed the normal course of the tour so that we could end there. She was very personable, knowledgeable and efficient in leading the tour pausing at appropriate intervals to brief us on historical events that took place there. We heartily recommend a walking tour with her.

Don't Miss this Tour! - THIS TOUR IS A MUST! Being our first time in St. Andrews, we were at first glance taken in by its historical character, beauty and seaside/golf uniqueness. We needed to see and hear more. Ian was our guide and he did not disappoint. A third year student at St. Andrews University, majoring in philosophy no less, he was engaging, knowledgeable, and quick with Scottish wit and humor. He went longer than the allotted 1.5 hours, primarily because he took every question and responded in-depth, but it went by in a blink. A thoroughly fun experience!

Wonderul tour of the Old Course - Our group of six had a terrific tour of The Old Course, led by John. Not only did he offer technical aspects of the course but he shared fun and interesting historical trivia about the legendary course. Four of us are not golfers but still enjoyed the tour very much. John did a great job! We highly recommend this tour.

90 minute walking tour of St. Andrews - The young female guide was an expert historian with a vast amount of detail in her narrative. She was organized and moved us through the tour at a reasonable pace. The weather turned quite cold and rainy and she tried to find shelter for us along the way. Excellent!!

Excellent way to see St Andrews on an afternoon visit - This was an excellent way to see both the Old Course and the town of St Andrews. Our guide was an recent St Andrews College grad and shared a great perspective on life in the town they share with the globally famous course. A nice balance of history and golf knowledge.

No one showed up from guide service. - Guide had an emergency and did not show up. No replacement showed up either. Not sure if this is commonplace for this guide service but please be aware.
