Fes El Bali - Our chef invites you to share her passion and intelligence in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
In the main kitchen, the workshops are organized in the group of 2 to 7 people maximum to ensure a personalized welcome and confer sessions cheerfulness sought.
Each half-day course will teach you how to prepare an appetizer, a main course and a dessert.
The class begins with a visit to the souks of spices and vegetables with our chef and a guide to buy fresh products and also to give some culinarytips and tricks.
At the end of each session, you will tast the dishes during a friendly lunch on the terrace overlooking the Medina of Fez or in the dining room of the Riad. A list of recipes dedicated by our chefs will be offered to share a grain of Morocco at home, with family or friends.

Hello to our future culinary companions! Our head chef hails from Fez and our defining approach lies in authentic, collaborative cooking - we truly understand the language of food. We view cuisine as a potent medium of communication, a wonderful way to familiarize oneself with a culture and its people as food has the power to connect us.
Our methodology in conducting our experiences is deeply rooted in authenticity combined with a friendly vibe. Our workshops are conducted in an engaging manner, always ensuring participatory cooking, exchanging anecdotes, and discussing rituals and traditions. We are of the opinion that food, besides being a biological necessity, speaks volumes culturally and socially. The culinary equipment provided is simplistic, akin to a regular home set up, so there’s no need to fret about having to reproduce recipes using complex tools. In our repertoire for the day, we prepare three fundamental traditional dishes from Fez, comprising a starter, main dish, and a sweet treat. Additionally, you’ll get to sample our homemade primary tea.
The session kicks off with a guided tour to the local spice and vegetable market accompanied by our chef, an opportunity to purchase fresh ingredients while benefiting from handy culinary advice.
