A Very Good Excursion - A very well-organised and fascinating excursion from pick-up to drop-off. I must single out Bahar, our guide, who was very knowledgeable about the places we visited especially to the ancient city of Tlos. Please extend to her our thanks as she made our entire excursion a very interesting and pleasant one indeed. The splendour of Gizlikent waterfall and Saklikent gorge are breathtaking, and Tlos is pure delight for history buffs like myself. The time management for the whole trip was good although the short visit to the carpet factory could perhaps be dispensed with. Overall an easy 5 stars!

Great experience - Loved going through the raging waters of the river. It was exhilarating to apply the mud on our faces on the end of the Gorge. If you planing to go, bring beach water shoes, it will be easier to walk in the river, uneven ground and slippery scree.

Thoroughly enjoyable, our guide... -
Thoroughly enjoyable, our guide Kamil was informative, helpful and jocular, our driver Speedy was safe and smooth given that the mountain roads were quite potholed. There were activity's such as rafting, bungee jumping and zip lining for the more adventurous at the gorge which itself is quite breath-taking. For us the highlight though would have to be the ancient city of Tlos I think. Would recommend it to anyone considering going. Good value I'd say.

Be prepared to walk through water on slippery rocks for the full experience - The Gorges were beautiful. If you have hiking/waterproof shoes take them with you and best to wear shorts. I wish I knew this ahead of time and would have dressed appropriately and bought my hiking shoes. There are options to buy/rent but be prepared with cash. Overall an enjoyable experience and worth seeing but didn't get to get the full experience.

Ancient city tour - Tour guide historical knowledge was good and informative. The tour itself was good but not very organised, as a tour you expect to be given a timeframe to be back on the bus, this was left up to the people on the tour as to how long spent at each destination, which isn't ideal when have plans for the evening! We expected a tour of the ancient city, however all we got was a tour and guide on the bus on the way into the city, then it was off the bus and tour guide sat at a cafe while we went off to explore the ancient city, it would have been nice for him to walk us through and explain all about the city. The Gore was nice, nothing like the pictures and we were unable to cross the torrents to explore the waterfalls (other than paying extra for a guide to lead you across) the adventure in Saklikent Gorge was not what what I expected but that too would be due to the weather we had rainy and cold it would have been a better experience. Lunch at the trout farm was good absolutely amazing up in he hills and seeing the women making stacks of bread. The lunch was average but the fresh trout was nice, tour guide didn't really organise the lunch well which was disappointing. All in all weather being better the tour would have been much more enjoyable. Just expect a rug wholesale tour at the start which isn't mentioned in the tour (as I believe most tours include) this was interesting to see the rugs made by young women, but also sad to see them creating these rugs that they don't get compensated for... Then you spend time there if someone on the tour decides to buy a rug... very time consuming. It was a great way to see some sights but a long day that is not on a timeframe!

Disappoinying - Unless you "cross the river" the gorge is a waste of time. We went in June and so it was crowded. The guide - George or Jorge was useless - he sat in the front of the vehicle with his back to us most of the time and MUMBLED his commentary the whole way through. The Tlos ruins were worthwhile. The main course at Yaka Park restaurant was very disappointing. We ordered Turkish pancake which was supposed to have a cheese and spinach filling - what a joke! However, we enjoyed the side dishes. The day was also spoiled by the cashier at the entrance to the gorge cheating us out of 100 Lira.
