Memorable 1st impression thanks to Fes Female Tour Guide - We are so lucky to have found Kaoutar and Fez Female Tour Guide to lead us through the windy streets of Fes. We were a group of about 15 graduate students, and I was leading the planning of the trip. I had done hours of research, reading reviews and comparing tour companies, and was struck by how helpful Kaoutar was from the beginning. With one WhatsApp, she quickly confirmed all the details that would make the day go smoothly – the appropriate size tour bus (fantastic quality!), the stops that were must-sees, and she generously offered to plan some special elements to supplement the tour like a lunch and pastries with a local family. She was then extremely flexible when we adapted our itinerary to have lunch somewhere else instead. Our tour guide’s name was Rajae, and not only was her English impeccable, but her attitude extremely bubbly and cheery, which brightened up the otherwise rainy day. In addition, she was so knowledgeable about her city and answered all our questions throughout the day. We had one girl on our tour from Qatar who was desperate to find the best orange blossom water and gazelle horn pastries, and Rajae easily procured these for us despite it not being included in the official “tour.” I still use this orange blossom water every day! Our favorite part of the tour was the stop at the pottery-making collective, where we ended up spending hours shopping! At the end of the day, Kaoutar sent a wonderful gift of a metal-working souvenir with each group member’s name – it was so special and thoughtful and I think reflective of this tour company’s commitment to their customer’s experience. Because of Fez Female Tour Guide, I had a memorable and positive first impression of Fes, and if you’re looking for a similar experience, I recommend you look no further!!
